I now on all my re-roofs and new construction vent to a common under eve vent/s. I cut vent stack/line in attic and place a "T" and run vent to eve and put a threaded plug in vertical "T" leg in case future service is ever needed. No more roof penetrations for plumbing vents and as I tie as many vents together as code will allow I end up with fewer outside vents in the overhang eves. Roofing is more attractive, less costly, and more sound with less potential for leaks. Ray Stormont

@@LearnPlumbing I've been plumbing before we even had PVC piping. I'm concerned how little plumbers know today about plumbing. We need lots of trade schools in America to help out.
