I have the sense that in general, in Buddhism, there is a tendency to speak in terms of aggregates, which is exactly what this video is about, that is, the aggregate of the five powers. I prefer nonetheless this particular one to view it as being fundamental for taking "Care of the self" and managing the Seeds that we have in "Store Consciousness" and how some of them grow and manifest in "Mind Consciousness," while others don't. So it's about the management of the seeds in us. This is simple, yet profound.

It is by ignorance that we suffer....and when we begin to touch the Insigt, we have the insight touching our True Nature; no birth, no death...there is no longer any fear, there is a compassion, there is acceptance, there is tolerance and that is why Insight is a tremendous source of power. 18: 43 the definition of "insight" - the fruit of mindfulness and concentration. "Letting go is the 6th power."

Now we know how terrible the situation in this world is. Just writing comments or being informed doesn't help at all. Just meditating and praying doesn't help either. We know that so many children in this world are starving to death or raped every day. We also know how everyday nature is being damaged. Everyone finds this awful but the situation does not change noticeably. Together we have to give up or share our prosperity and also be ready to risk our precious lives for the good. Stop following temptations!!! Why do so many people risk their lives for evil(war) but very few risk for good(Peace) without a weapon like Jesus or Gandhi? We are beloved children of God, we are Buddhas we are stronger than nuclear weapons. Sooner or later our bodies will be dead without exception. Let's wake up collectively and save this suffering world together fearlessly! God is within us. Let us BE the SALVATION!!!🙏🙏🙏

The meditation help us to overcome our ignorance , greed , anger , ect . So we do not CAUSE SUFfERANCE to others . Don’t you think many problems you mentioned have roots from ignorance , greed , anger ? . We can not solve problem of the world by material helping only , we have to change the ways they think if those ways has caused harm to living beings and environment . That is by education and meditation is an effective way . For example Right now many children lack of concentration due to using screen too much , many adults are under stress due to their jobs , the modern living ways , and they used mindful meditation to help them . Solving the sexual abuse , the hunger , the killing by war , conflicts are primary responsible of the governments , we can help as officials in their administration or activists , but as the same time we can alleviate our sufferings ( mainly mental ) by meditation , and thence our physical health . Buddha taught that if we want to solve a problem ( effect ) ,we have to find the causes and the conditions making the problem happened . Then we can find the suitable methods or strategy . USA had poured many billion dollars to many developing countries , but could not solve the poverty of those countries .
