Anyone else wake up and feel stiff and sore as heck? Worse still, you haven't even worked out? Yup, me too. That's why I like to do these stretches before I hobble out of bed to the loo. You can do these simple, beginner stretches from the comfort of your own bed if you like.
They are all modified/fat friendly tested/plus size positive stretches that will help you feel so much better about starting your day on the right foot. Let's get rid of all the aches and pains by doing a short 10 minute full body stretch. Trust me, you'll feel so much better.
They aren't just stretches for the morning, you can do them anytime of day, or even before working out to help loosen up tense muscles and relieve any soreness.

Many thanks for the videos. I was getting fed up seeing exercises for the 'overweight' being demonstrated by superfit skinny people with no understanding of what it's like to be big. Loving it :-)

Thank you! Skinny people have no clue how hard it is for large bodies to move. I can't get up off the floor, or cross my legs. Ugh. It was so encouraging to stretch with you this morning. I'm a new subscriber!

Girl, thank you for this video. I was searching through the morning stretch videos and came across yours. Most of these people do not get that stretching when you are skinny is entirely different than stretching when you are big. Thank you!!

OMG FINALLY. I was so sick of following yoga tutorials from stick thin Instagram models, seriously made me feel inferiors and shamed. But seeing you, as you are, makes me feel like I can get back into yoga and feel good about my body.

This video is so great! I started exercising again and it left me feeling defeated and deflated. I did not want to get up and do it. I would become overwhelmed by how unfit I have become and was afraid that I would exhaust myself before work (so would have trouble balancing my mental health/anxiety). I did the stretching exercise where you pull your leg up behind you, well I tried, it wasn't easy and I was crushed. How far have I fallen that I cannot do a basic stretch that I started doing as a 10 year old netballer! I googled 'beginner stretching for overweight women' and that is where I found you. This morning has been a completely different experience for me and I feel so calmly happy. In some areas I could extend an exercise, or not have to go with the easier option and in others I was no where near as bendy as you. However there was just enough of the two that I feel confident AND pushed. My body feels nicely exerted and I feel happier. This is something I am going to WANT to get up for. Thank you Holly

Just did this before leaving a 12 hour overnight shift and I feel great…also can I tell you how nice it is to find a channel that isn’t led by some fitness goddess in her 20s wearing shorts intended for an infant, with her butt and hoo-ha hanging out… that’s the last thing I want to see when trying not to fall over😂.. you’ve gained a new subscriber, thank you for this.

Thank you so much. It’s refreshing to do a stretching video with someone who’s body looks like mine and understands that certain positions or poses may not be as easy for some people. I'm sick and tired of being in pain as soon as I wake up. I'm almost 300 lbs and I've finally decided to start a weight loss journey. They're simple stretches and I know I can do it. My back and legs still hurt a little but I'm hoping that'll go away if/when I start to lose weight. Thank you for sharing this.

Omg thank you for having this channel!! I searched for a stretching video, and there was only a sea of super skinny white girls. Like no thank you, it took me a good while to find at least someone plus size. I want to see myself doing exercises showing me it’s possible and moving your body doesn’t have to look size 0 and glam ready. Love more diversity in the health and fitness section!!!

I've recently put back on a decent chunk of weight during lockdown and the biggest issue with exercise atm is the aches and pains in muscles. All stretching videos tend to be for people who are frankly more flexible and have physically smaller bodies. This was perfect for me, keep up the good work.

Thank you so much for making this video! I’ve been mostly bed bound for a year and a half due to an injury. I’m trying to get up and get going to get this weight off that I’ve gained. This video is perfect for beginners with a lot of weight to lose. I’ve added it to my morning routine and just completed it for the first time. I was able to do it all with no break! Thanks again!

I found this last year when I broke my ankle. I've since healed but my anxiety hit the lowest point (by being extremely high) this past week. I agree with other commenters, it's nice to see a video of somebody who looks like me. Also, just something I enjoy is more guided breathing and maybe slow down a bit but this got me super relaxed for bed and I rubbed my feet a but instead of the march at the end because they are very sore from all the yardwork earlier. Bonjour Holly,🤗 I came across your videos yesterday - they're exactly what I have been looking for !! Slow and simple with easy explanations to each movement. All done by a "normal looking" & "natural person " This video is going to be so helpful to me - I suffer from fibromyalgia & chronic pain, so some mornings take longer than others for me to get up and moving. These stretching movements are GREAT and the fact that they can be started in bed makes them even better.( I usually lie in bed until I feel not so stiff - it's such a waste of time!) at least now I won't feel so useless 😜 I'm looking forward to being able to get into some of your other workout videos!! Thanks for this brilliant series.... Keep up the great work !!

I tried this today since I woke up in the morning due to severe back and waist pain, well it did helped as after some time I felt relieved, not only this I walked for about half hour and did crunches too. Since this relief was only temporary, I hope doing this regularly helps me to relive back pain on permanent basis! P.s.- I m a plus size too

This is the first stretch tape I tried and I really like it for myself and my daughter who is disabled. I have imitations myself due to my weight and a very bad back. I tried your stretches tonight, finally I found your videos. Some things I cannot do while I am obese. Your technique back stretch with arms go back and hold behind at lower back and body go forward, it stretches sooooooooooo gooood. I repeat after that and will do everyday !

This video is awesome! I tried beginner videos or even low-impact videos on other channels but they are not geared towards plus-size. There's certain movements that maybe in general people can do but then they get into movements where overweight people have a very difficult time doing and they don't even give like an alternate way of doing something. It makes me feel frustrated and want to give up. I like that this is geared for overweight people or just for people that may not have the flexibility. There should be more videos like this.

I know this is an old video, but I want to say thank you so much for posting these videos! I always struggle finding anything that suits me as most videos for obese people are made by strong skinny well built women, which makes 0 sense of you ask me. Your videos are helping me so much 💖

This was so relaxing! I didnt think I'd feel any difference because it was only 10 minutes, but I for sure feel less stiff, especially in my shoulders

I can't thank you enough for this. Seeing someone closer to my size was incredibly comforting to start out this scary new thing in my life. At one point you smiled during one of the stretches and I got so emotional I cried?? Thank you for the help

I just found your channel, and I did the stretch and warm up. I already like your way of inclusion and I’ll start following. This past year I put on over 15 pounds, on top of my 207lb 5’3 body that hasn’t changed in years! I definitely need to get moving again. I do have back and neck problems and I’m home on disability, but I think i can do this.

I'm not plus size, but i definitely have a belly that gets in the way. This is the first video exercise i find that didn't leave me absurdely exhausted by the end, thank you so much!

Hello Holly! I just found this stretching video this morning and am so happy to see you have a whole channel on plus size fitness. I have been over weight since shortly after my first born. I've tried gyms and following routines, even paid classes! They are uncomfortable and unrealistic for big bodies trying to loose 100+ lbs. I am going to credit the Devine for leading me to your channel today. I look forward to watching more of your videos and thank you for being brave enough to fill this void of plus sized fitness journeys. ❤

I'm loving this video, did my first many nights overnight shift for work this week and turns out my back hates air mattresses now, too. I've been waking up feeling horrible, stiff pain these passed few days. Thankfully this video has helped me loosen up enough to get to my workouts. Thank you so much for posting this!

Girl, thank you, I was thinking of doing some of her workouts, but now I don't think I will. Someone who has really nice workout vids and some for plus size people is Joanna Soh and you can really tell she's a pro. It's nice that someone like her thought of creatine a routine for people like us :)... Like she's totally fit and still considered big people too, like not many trainers do.

Started changing the way I eat a month ago and this week I finally decided to get my body moving. After looking for excersise videos for beginners I tried one from a skinny fitness instructor and as soon as they told me to do jumping jacks I laughed and decided to search again. I found your channel and I'm so happy to see a full figured woman working out and doing moves that I can do! You're the best, keep making these videos! ❤️
