PM concerned over sharp rise in ‘sex crimes’, corruption
Premier Imran while speaking to Muslim scholars says society must make corruption 'unacceptable'
A number of eminent Muslim scholars on Sunday stressed upon the need to grapple with issues emanating from globalisation and a plethora of untamed information on the internet through proper guidance of the Muslim youth.
Sharing their thought-provoking views, they highlighted that through the creation of adequate awareness about the Seerat and Sunnat of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him), the Muslim youth should be educated to glide through the current age challenges.
In the second part of the dialogue with Prime Minister Imran Khan held by the National Rehmatul-lil-Alameen Authority, on the topic of "Riyasat-e- Madina, Islam, society and ethical revival", they dotted down certain collective efforts by the Muslim countries to brace the negative impacts of modernity upon the Muslim youth.

They responded to various questions raised by the prime minister about the unbridled availability of social media material, corruption, rising sex offences against women and children and other contemporary challenges posed to the Muslim youth and society.
Taking part in the discussion, Dr Seyyed Hossein Nasr, University Professor of Islamic Studies at the George Washington, US, alluded to the impacts of the modernistic trends upon the Muslim youth which could be felt much more than ever.
He said that the youth should be taught that spirituality was a real phenomenon while the mundane attractions were temporary.
“Today, the world is more precarious and dangerous for the youth,” he said, adding that the Muslim youth should be guided through the teachings which were authentic and pertaining to the current challenges.
Dr Nasr also denounced that in the West, certain non-serious elements talked about Islam in a negative tone, which was tantamount to attacking the religion.

He maintained that Islam offered solutions to the most urgent issues of today, adding that the Muslim countries were blessed with tremendous resources and they could utilise it to revive and preserve their culture on the basis of faith in the religion.
Dr Nasr further said that solutions to present-day challenges could not be resolved within 24 hours as there was a dire need for gradual awareness.
'Society must take stand against corruption'
Shaykh Hamza Yusuf, an American scholar, responding to the prime minister’s query about the corruption and increasing trend of sexual offences against women and children, agreed that these were the profound problems arising from greed in society.
The prime minister said that that sex crimes had increased sharply in societies and the same case was with corruption as these issues were not confined to one country. He opined that a society had to take a stand against corruption making it unacceptable.

Incredibly important discussion. And one that needs to happen more regularly, with the inclusion of active and knowledgeable Muslim youth. Another important element would be to include the famous Muslim role models such as athletes who are perceived as successful and influential by the standards of our current society. Happy that these kind of points are articulated and we as youth can learn from them. It is not an easy gathering to arrange but one that is crucial and worth having to give youth a chance of decent future.

Muslim needs to understand the meaning of لا إله إلا الله، محمدا رسول الله first. All the insecurities are coming from not depending and submitting completely to Allah. That's why people get involved in bribery, interest etc. and in other moral degradations we see so prevalent in the Muslim world today. Allah knows the best.

Make dedicated TV channels to educate foundation courses to all those who love making fun videos and passing time wasting around and not studying to raise to the level that make them read any book or write on any topic. 2. Ban on levish dowry ... Giving dowry should be banned with punishment. The greedy takers would change their mindsets. 3. Who could write their names get the NIC ... Why ? Only an educated one should have the identity card may be this way the feudals would get their daughters to study and to get NIC and be eligible for marriage. 4. Divorce in case baby girl is born should impose heavy dues on biological fathers to stop this crime of hurting wives for giving birth to daughters. 5. Evacuate the redlight areas. 6. Stop importing drinks and unhealthy grocery items plus junk food. 7. Kill all pigs 8. Death sentence for serving haram meat of dogs, donkeys etc. 9. Raise benefits to farmers. 10. Stop doctors production and raise nursing and paramedic staff. 11. Cut the hands of all those involved in Bank shop robbery especially car theft no matter what. 12. Death sentence for drug and human trafficking 13. No religion supports alcohol .... Break all the stock of alcholol. 14. Burn the books of non sense wazeefay and innovative azkaar bidah. 15. Fashion industry should have multiple checks and only loose dresses for women should be allowed. 16. Exempt Muslim women to serve husband friends at home. Home is a place to feel free and relaxed. Men can meet friends somewhere out. 17. Newly-weds must be given privacy from mom in laws ... To lower divorce rate. 18. Educational institutions should provide facilities to offer prayers 19. Stop importing more than needed. 20. Reward money for those who pin point currupt ppl

Seeing you IK , discussing Islam is looking strange to me , what you are discussing is not in your own practice as you haven't cleared publicly the allegations of marrying a granny , your 3rd wife in her Iddat days & 2nd you haven't declared your American born girl as your daughter in the papers you have submitted in the election commission as public representative , how can we call you a practising Muslim ?
