I know this is long after you posted this playlist, but just wanted to tell you how good this series is! I just finished watching the entire build for the second time (!), and am expecting the big brown truck to deliver my PM3 tomorrow. At 61 years old, and only one year into this home machine shop journey, it will be the first “trial by fire” build I’ve done, but you made it look much less intimidating than I’d have imagined! Wish me luck, and thanks!

Tom I am glad you found the videos helpful. Take your time and try to think ahead and you should do fine. You may want to try some of the Elmer’s engines (free plans on the internet) as they are made of bar stock and much cheaper to build.

@@welcometothemachineshop466 Thanks! And I’ll check out the Elmer thing! Cost matters in my case!

Aloha nice looking engine, I have built several of PM Research kits and always enjoy seeing how others approached the different setups. Enjoy..

John Green I just tapped it with a 10-32 tap and made a barbed fitting from some hex stock.

I enjoyed your videos, your setups were creative and showed some thought. Had to turn off the volume though 'cuz I couldn’t hang with your choice of music, but then, to each his own, right? Nice looking engine and I’ll look in on your series with Elmer's engine as well!

John Welsch thank you. To be honest I am not really happy with the music myself. I need to find something else, not as easy as you would think.
