For the ITTOs, Tools & Techniques section, why is "Impact Analysis" not part of this section as part of "Data Analysis"? But, only Alternative Analysis and Cost Benefit Analysis listed? Thanks for your help.

There is no technique named as Impact analysis in PMBOK. But honestly, I agree with you, you definitely do impact analysis as a part of the process

So once the baselines are approved and there is a new CR then it has to go through change control process where CB will review the change and take a decision whether to approve or reject the change. Whatever the decision it may be your CCL and other plans will be updated and customer will be communicated.

It just depends, some organization call it as change control form.

There are a lot of diagram(s) types in this knowledge area (4- Integration) especially on (4.2 Develop project plan as it contains of 18-19 tasks and has a relation with (12 processes) which found at (Process & Monitoring process Group ).

I have seen one of the input of this process (WPI) does mot comes from previous processes , Mainly comes from most of 12 processes of ( Control & monitoring Process Group).

That is correct because this process in perform integrated change control and PMBOK says that when your baseline is established then you have to follow the proper change control process.

Work performance data is always used when a fresh new deliverable is developed. Think from this perspective that you don’t know much about this deliverable as it is newly created. You used WPI when you get to know more information about this deliverable. When your stakeholders need to know the status of your project. You use WPR when your management has requested you to convert that information into something more substantial or in form of reports. Your management might not know what CPI or SPI is but if explained in the form of status report then they will be more interested in

In this process risk register and risk report should be updated not only change log. right?? . Pmbok doesn't insert them as major outputs

That is true Balkees. Yes risk register and risk report may get updated after this process. However, PMBOK has specifically mentioned the statement: That following are the outputs but are not limited to". This means PMBOK says that other options may be an output to this process.

Which exam are you referring about? If you are refereeing to PMP then please delete your comment as sharing PMP questions is unethical. If it is some other source then the answer should be B as it doesnt matter who approves the CR, it has to follow the proper change request process.

hi ,, Please i had misunderstanding regarding the configuration management plan,, i had read before in pmbok and i thought in one of previous slides that it is about plan to make sure that changes to documents are recorded, updated and every one in project know the last update while here you said it is plan about change in the specification to the product , the procedures to change the product, status of the changed features and tracking the change .. i know i had misunderstanding here ,, please can u give me more clarification for this item ?

hi ,, sorry for that ,,, but i understand the example from the video , what i can't understand that PMbok said that configuration management plans confirms that last version from baselines and plans all the team know about it and control the changes to the document but what we said here it about plan of the changes to the product specs
