Yeah, I agree. NK music has a lot of similarity with enka and older anime OPs. Maybe this similarity is due to "trot", which is a Korean musical style based on Japanese enka, popular in like the 1920s to 40s (but still popular with older generations today, including in South Korea). This sort of martial NK music might be in part inspired by trot (but also has a lot of the Soviet music tradition mixed in that would have formed it).

I'm going to say something strange, but communism gave me a reason to live when I was depressed, saved my live. Then I discovered North Korea with all its music. Even when the body just wanted to die and disappear from this world, every time I accessed videos like this and "The Juche Idea is Our Victory" it sparked motivation for me. Communism, specially Juche Idea, saved me from my suicide.
