In Barlog I trust, and if he believes Eric Williams will do justice by this final installment of the GoW Norse anthology then I know he will do a great job. Cory Barlog seems like such a down-to-earth, chill dude for someone in his position. What other game has their studio’s creative director and lead game director sit down for a KZbin interview on a somewhat modest channel this far ahead of a game release? In my opinion, this is a display of good faith, quality work, and passion for your project.

I was initially very worried about how this is the last game on Norse but when Cory gave the reasons it settled me down. If I understand him, considering this game is much longer than the first, it’s almost 2 games in one? For those that are curious, I think the time stamp where Eric Williams comes in the Raising Kratos documentary was at 49:20. Just like Cory said, he steps into frame, realizes the camera rolling, and tries to step out hurriedly. Funny to think years later, he'd be revealed as the succesor to Cory Barlog's God of War. Personally, I JUST finished the game and I just want more! Beautiful game in its story and gameplay. Can't believe how it ended, though, like, it was just begging for a sequel!

You know I thought they were going to make it trilogy even after the interview they did at the end of the reveal show .. But hearing it from Cory's mouth cleared all the doubts I had about it being two parts. I don't think I wanted to get a Console to play the God of War games but the closest thing is getting a PS3 for God of War 3 but still I Wanted to get one. Also remember that my TV couldn't support the PS3 so I had to go into my Parent's Bedroom to do it. It didn't even have HDMI! And yet I played RDR2 in Spain with a TV similar to the one I had in 2013 or less and it worked just fine.

@Pony Trash I understand where you're coming from, my dad feels the same way, I grew up with the GoW series up until 3 and my dad always used to play it with me, for him it's more of the nostalgia and Kratos ripping and tearing but from my viewpoint you have to see that Kratos was trying to leave that life behind, after he killed Zeus he got his revenge and that's all he ever wanted since GoW 2, and at the end of 3 he got it. GoW is basically just a new chapter in his life, him trying to be a father instead of an angry killing machine, trying to leave that life behind to be better for his SON, I personally liked the 2018 GoW, the gameplay mechanics totally changed too which I could understand put some people off like the fixed camera angle, also the new upgrading system but in essence to me it's just like they basically upgraded the upgrading system to a level up system, I feel like most people hate it because of its rpg gameplay elements but me I love it, I'm open to anyway they improve GoW

So I think we're forsure going to a new pantheon after this. Cory stated himself "the big splash " that they won't talk about already teasing what's after. Obviously from known stuff they've wanted to go to Egyptian from the start. And they have a mission in mind of where this story is going. They want to get the norse saga done and move to the next to further the overall god of war story.

I dont think so, they probably will end GOW north mythology in a way to have possibility to continue it in other mythologys but my best guess is they will have a new IP (wich probebly have Cory as director) before they come back to GOW again.
