The importance of epigenetics can't be overstated. We find out more and more as time goes on. Turns out epigenetics plays a big role even in height and intelligence, completely changing how we used to think about that.

Epigenetics are stronger science than the “nudges” neoliberal economics proposes. We clearly need to garuantee human needs are met. This includes food, water, shelter and love and community etc. The hyper individualism and austerity measures of the USA are objectively hurting us.

do you think vegans should even supplement phosphorus because like I think it is plausible. Anyway don't take too much or something

I have seen the complete opposite of this. With children born from the same mom. The thinner child in adulthood born when the mom was heavier.

Yes, since it's just about percentages and likelihoods, there's nothing strange about that.

In "Metabolic Syndrome from mechanisms to interventions", they emphasize more on the mom's starvation being a major cause of metabolic syndrome in childhood and adulthood. Deficiency from specific nutrients seems to activate epigenetic signals in the foetus. Also, it seems to cause organ undergrowth, so less physiological compensation to over nutrition (to wich virtually everybody is exposed!)
