Oh love this guy! Need I say more! Need more M.D.s and scientists like him. Especially for those of us who want evidence based data-driven valid science NOT sponsored by big pharma, big meat or big corp.

I don't believe Dr. Greger recommends Retin-A because a study found increased mortality with Retin-A.

I use frownies patches every single night and they really do help prevent my frown “11” lines. I tend to frown at night and they freeze my forehead so that I don’t get the wrinkles (similar to Botox).

Want to make your face look good? Eat one whole carrot 🥕 per day. You have to use your teeth and your face muscles to crunch it. Our problem is that we don’t chew our food anymore because everything is made soft.
@HendersonHinchfinch6 ай бұрын
That’s just not true at all lol. Do you blend all of your food or what?
@jascha18676 ай бұрын
@@HendersonHinchfinch The hypothesis is very logical in my mind. Consider the amount of processing through baking and cooking and how that reduces our daily chewing needs. There is some evidence to support this. Take a look at the book "Jaws - The Story of a Hidden Epidemic". I remember reading parts and being quite surprised about the anthropological evidence of anatomic differences between western humans and 19th century hunter-gatherers. I do not recall my thoughts about the rigor of the book's research, but check it out!

Think the carrot 🥕 being your facial gym. Your face muscles gets the exercise and carrot 🥕 has all the nutrients your skin deserves. Just one medium carrot 🥕 and that is it. You don’t need to go overboard with it.
@verttikoo20526 ай бұрын
Carrot 🥕 is good exercise for your yaw. It is full of carotine, minerals, fibers and stuff. You will see results quickly. You don’t even have time to do that every day.

Two things in this podcast don't match my real life experience. One is that the sleeping position does not affect wrinkles. I always slept on my side and in my late thirties I started to get wrinkles on my decollete. This was because that area was wrinkling while sleeping. So I learned to sleep on my back and over the years the wrinkles went away and now at 64 there are still no wrinkles. If I had carried on sleeping on my side they would have been really bad by now. The other thing he said that is not my experience is that forearms do not get wrinkled. My forearms are wrinkled which has to be sun damage as no facial expressions there and lying on my back would not cause them to wrinkle.

Well.. smoked and sunbathed for a living everyday sinse 14, only quit recently, so theres my anxiety and bad feelings for the day

If you’re willing to share, how did you quit?
@VeganChiefWarrior6 ай бұрын
@@Syl839 quit smoking? It's been a long year of stress slowly cutting back I did it the wrong way, should have quit cold and just gone through the first 4 days of torture untill the cravings go away, instead I smoked less and less over time and slowly lost my daily routine, developed alopecia in my beard, In trying to make it as easy as possible I ended doing the opposite, so the best advice I can give you is don't do what I did, quit cold and in 4 days you won't even crave anymore, I have a bad tendency to do everything the wrong way before I figure out the right way, excersize and working out is key to maintain your mental health while quitting, that I didn't do, but have started going for walks and tomorrow I'll add jogging then after I've got consistent with those I'll add working out, and then hopefully that will help me out of the bed ridden anxiety filled junk food eating state that I slowly declined into from trying to quit smoking slowly instead of just pushing through 4 days of misery.. good luck 👍 you made a great decision asking me how I did it, a lucky ask indeed, I only wish I could have asked someone who could have told me what I just told you, would have saved my life, instead now I have 5 years untill my beard recovers, and thats if it even does.. it's still spreading because in still stressing, more so from a lack of purpose, pride, self worth and routine which all tie together

At least you quit at some point and I hope you are healthy. Congratulations. I quit in 2017. Tried for decades when I ate meat to no avail. Went plant-exclusive and quit no problem 4 days later and never craved one since.

@@Syl839 sorry I wrote a long reply but it didn't come through, I quit slowly and I wouldn't recommend doing it that way it was torture, the best way would be to quit cold and just get through those first 4 days and then you won't even crave smoking anymore, I tend to learn the hard way lol

Want to make your face look good? Blend one small veggie piece 🥦 in a glass of water 7x a day. DON’T STRAIN THE PULP, THERE’S A REASON I SAY ONE SMALL PIECE OF VEGGIE!!! Hydration, antioxidants and fiber are important. The problem is we don’t drink enough water, consume enough antioxidants or fiber anymore.
