I personally believe the whole characters being clones thing was some retcon they were forced to put in by higher ups. Stuff like Wonder Woman’s death and Batman tribute at the end of the game just wouldn’t make sense if that was case. This whole project was just a mess and should have been shot down immediately. Hopefully Rocksteady learns from this blunder and consider re hiring some of their old talent for their future projects.

The Batman tribute was a meta out of universe reason. This was 100% intentional from the start with the clones. Too many hints plus let’s then have their cake and eat it too. Kill the “league” while also keeping the league alive. It just sucked lol

Looter shooters need time to cook one year of support is nothing, if people weren’t so horny for Batman the game could have had a longer lifespan, the core gameplay was fun but a few things needed to be reworked and base game content needed to be expanded. It’s unfortunate that WB pulled the plug so early literally weeks after the game released.

I take back every good word I've ever said about this game. That ending was actual shit on a plate. They really thought they could take a whole year after killing off Batman just to say, "He's dead! NUH UH!" They should have always had that ending cinematic rendered before the game even cane out. This game is actual horseshit, I literally have defended it to all my friends since launch, telling them the ending would fix everything. Now im a laughing stock. This game deserves to get Rocksteady shut down. This game is actual shit, nothing more. They should have just burnt their 200 million.
