well there are much cheaper ways to craft items like this. planning crafts a little bit better ahead of time generally helps you not waste exalts. as a general rule from a crafter thats spent thousands on items, dont be using the exalt bench crafts until you have at least 3 preferred mods locked down on an item. the weighting in poe is such that the benchcrafts are designed for finishing already well roled items with 1-2 additional preferred mods, not getting 1 mod you want and then using 2-5 exalts per try to get 1 more mod.

At 4:05 wouldn't it have been better to do an aisling veil once you got that beautiful t1 chaos alone on the suffix side? You could have crafted the multi-mod + prefixes cannot be changed then do Aisling for a 66% chance to remove one of the two crafted suffixes.

Assuming you craft the chaos res fractured one its much better to just craft it until you have good prefixes, suf cannot me changed veil until you only have fracuted res and hyroglyhs, block and unveil double res, and craft other double res.

There's a Harvest craft that says something like "Fracture a modifier on an item with at least x mods" - they're rare as hell and it's usually a 1 in 6 or 1 in 3 chance to get what you what :|

I've made synth rings with bameth rolls before. It's much easier and cheaper to alt spam. You also don't need to annul anything once you hit.

This is similar to a ring I made today, I rolled a couple t1 all res, +1 t1 res, slammed a harvest chaos craft and hit t2 chaos resist, having no prefixes I unveiled life and then slammed to fill the last prefix, hit mana. End result 60 hp/regen mana, 54 mana , 18% all res, 50% fire res , 36% chaos res (+27 from amethyst)

facebreaker cyclone is still really strong. I did a zerker version of it, full zhp softcore setup. like 2.8k life, 50m dps. max block without glancing blows tho, so still decently beefy.

One thing i realized from these crafting Videos is that u dont like to buy reforge keep suffix / keep prefix crafts

I usually only use those if I need to clean up a mod slot so I can lock prefixes/suffixes. I haven't had a ton of luck with those in terms of crafting and they are rare as heck and cost about 1.5-2ex on TFT, so it makes sense to lock prefixes and Reforge X for a much higher chance of getting what I want :)

@@Lolcohol Another option that I thought of on the way home is spam duo pristine + jagged fossils until you get a decent tier of Life and Phys damage. Then you can lock prefixes, veiled chaos. If both suffixes get filled, you can reforge keep prefixes and then go again. This gives you room to block before unveiling and forces the veiled mod to be a suffix. This would probably be a bit more expensive but gives you more control over the craft after the initial fossil spam. In the future, I think leaving the side that you want to craft on for last is probably better and easier. That way you're not trying to do shenanigans where you're multi-modding just to try and fill suffixes. For that reason, I think starting with prefixes this time around would have been a bit better. Still a nice ring though and it gives me some ideas for things to craft for profit next league.
