One thing to remember is that with the currency auction house many players will probably gravitate towards strategies that they can easily buy and sell on there. There might not be much competition in blight since I think most players will want to farm breach or delirium more. With less oils coming from maps and not many people enjoying blighted maps this could be one of the best early league money makers with how easy those maps are with ring anoints.

Alright everyone ! Last Leagues I played Ice Spear Totem and that was super effective at rushing Blight. But, last League Annihilating Light got put into Uber Exarch making it super hard to get early, meaning my first weekend damage is substantially lower than before. The last time I played SRS they just got overwhelmed by Monsters during low-lane Blights. For the Blighted and Ravaged Maps I know what to do. I'm just not sure whats a good build now for mapping. I kinda think Bleed Lacerate or Frostblades could be really fun this League, but Melee gets so hard countered by these bubbles that are everywhere in blights, I don't like it. Really not sure where to start. Never tried the Elemental Arrow Ballistas. Do they work, or are they just too slow for Blight in Maps?

Just as there is a difference between blight, a blighted* map, and a blight ravaged map, I think the term 'blighted' chest is intentionally different than the standard blight chest, so one blight chest is upgraded to a 'blighted' chest is how I think this reads, not expecting it to remove the other blight chests. We will see!

Chains of Command (or most any minion build) can make blight pretty much entirely automated, though honestly once you get used to the towers you can do blight with pretty much anything. Ive seen people run blighted maps with only rings for the tower anoints.

@@zazhigalka27 you can use a bunch of different cheap uniques and be pretty viable for early league content, literally just giving your AG an oro's would be enough damage for early maps, then you can scale with flammability/exposure/etc, ill look around and see if there's a specific low budget build to follow, but really you can stick most anything in and make it work.

Travic, there is no doubt in my mind that you are spot on with regards to double annointed jewelry potentially being very valuable. They will be rare, but mark my words, the right combination of annoints on the right base - and a given the hype this league is receiving, will probably be recordbreaking in terms of player retention - those amulets will be worth several hundreds of divines, possibly a mirror.

Blight is one of my favorite mechanics in the game and I usually only ever did it in maps or the odd blighted map here and there. My question are; Can a weaker build do blight ravaged maps with just the towers or do I need a build that packs a punch to get through the bosses? Also, with the changes to melee skills and the nerf of other builds (Manastacker Mjölner, RF and Spark, which I usually played), what would be a good build in theory to get going with it as early as possible? Also, what mechanic is good to pair it with during mapping? Last league I did it with Delirium. Lastly, what are the best annoints for blight ravaged? For normal blight maps I tend to use teal to make it quicker.

Unless you bulk trade bases blight ravaged doesn't really offer much, just more chance for very unlikely big ticket drops but a crazy increase in difficulty. I make ridiculous currency spamming t13-16 3x teal blighted maps every league, They are 3-5c each in bulk after the first week. You can also say roll 20-30 maps, run them and that will give you a full tab of blighted maps if you want some variety. Any sort of elemental profil / explode builds are what you want if you seriously blight, i personally use minion builds with 30% explode chest / gravebind on my AG and i can afk t16 blight a few weeks in. Freeze tower 0.2 freeze and meteor towers is the starter anoints, build stacks of lvl 3 empower with a freeze and stun both level 3 on your lanes and some meteor towers near your pump, plenty of videos showing how to set these up but if you are use to 3x teal madness then you should be pretty good at this already. You do need proper damage to do any blight strat though because you will get shafted like lanes with no towers, god touched mobs forcing you off a posistion, 1fps etc.

Also what to pair with i tend to go 60% chance for map to be +1 tier which works for the blighted map drops and eater of worlds. That's 87 points so comes online pretty early and it helps flesh out your atlas.

My atlas start is all blight and ritual notes. Only takes 40 nodes to grab most of the good ones. The exact same place on the tree. Nothing else not even mapping nodes as extra content drops maps as well. This league is going to be top 3 ever if not the best.

You need to add a disclaimer: One needs a *VERY* high dps build to handle blight ravaged maps, because no matter how one builds towers, at least one unique mob *always* gets by -- and you often need to face tank and dps it down quickly enough so it doesn't compound other problems. Shit is no joke and feels very bad when oiling up a blight ravaged map, only to fail on it. Very FEW people will be able to run blight ravaged maps on day 2. P.S. for anyone running a build w tons of proj, you'll need a pretty beefy CPU to handle it.

Thinking you only need 2 properly anointed rings isn't going to end well -- especially if you tie up your early currency in the ring anoints. Will be a feels bad moment for too many people.

For SSF and HCSSF the loss of blighted jewellery, especially rings, is a nerf. I got most of my golden oils extracted from that.

I hope my PC can handle ravaged blights this league. Last time I ran them was during TOTA with my Sanctum Hexblast farmer. Bosses went down quick but fps were rather low. Will you be making a build guide or video suggesting Blight builds? I'm personally leaning towards something with "proliferation" this time around. Kill as much as possible before the fps start to die on me. Also as a sidenote, is it true that the issue with performance in Blight is due to the visual effects of Seismic Towers?

I would also would love to have tips on that... I think the big problem with blights is that the lanes from the pump cause a ton of lag by themselves even without any monsters.

The issue with blights is performance . I don't wanna play at 15fps . I rather they reduced the enemies and gave us takier enemies

Keeo in mind, the ONLY way to get 30% quality items ( which is more important now than ever) is on dropped items. So dropping large wuantities of items looking for high ilvl bases WITH 30% AND the right TIER is... A tall ass order lol.

Have you seen how much loot drops from blight ravaged thats tier 1 bases? Its kinda insane. I have a video coming out in a few hours showing how to do ravaged and how insane the loot is.
