It's definitely worth a buy for a change of pace, but it's still not quite found it's legs properly. The end game is significantly improved this cycle by having pinnacle content as a thing that exists at all, but it's pretty bare bones from a PoE perspective. LE will definitely be the game that influences and is influenced in turn by PoE and PoE2 the most - we've already seen PoE2 get a trade market from LE, and LE just got an evade mechanic similar to PoE2.

Dont know. Chris said it isnt impossible, but that they have to be really careful. Adapting it to the same as consoles is a somewhat logical step. However it is true, that Chris probably is not the absolute Highest instance at GGG concerning PoE 1 anymore

One thing I could see being changed with Rage is that the amount you gain on a hit going to scale with damage like Fortify, because Rage in its current state is hard to build up without a fast hitting attack like Cyclone.

Yeah that's a possibility. Against bosses you'd have Warlords Mark as an option anyway.

In 1.0 I played up to 2 or 3 empowered monoliths and that was enough. Still very happy with what I got for the ~$51 (that's Aussie dollars). I've gone back for 1.1 but will drop it when 3.25 gets near.

We increased the looting range. To make up for this change we also decreased the drop rate of all items by 80%.

I hope GGG implements this rage buff properly... They are known for implementing something that ends up being op for spell builds then blanket nerfing everything, all in all gutting melee while spells remaining at relatively the same power level...

Totally agree with your take on last epoch. Unlike Diablo 4. They actually seem to care about their game and adding features and quality of life and endgame content. It's just hard to compete with path of exile who's had 15 years of endgame content built up.

@@sirgog D4 isn't even in the top 5 of its genre at the moment. It's being shit on even by previous games in its own series. D2R is there, Project Diablo 2 is there, even Diablo 3 plays reasonably well today and retained an active community. Last Epoch is much better than D4 (and cheaper), Path of Exile is currently the top 1, even after a crap league like Necropolis. There are also games like Grim Dawn. Or Hades 1/2 (though Hades ain't pure ARPG - it certainly inspired POE 2 though) Idk what happened in Blizzard. Hiring political activists instead of actual developers that know wtf they're doing?

Sometimes my character has to travel a lot to pick up certain items that show at the edge of the screen, so this would reduce the pick-up time, which is nice.

It seems like they're making big changes at least. None of the melee characters we've seen in these teaser clips have had totems in their skill bar. Instead, all of the clips had broken totems in the background. I would guess that there is less jank involved in playing melee skills. That would already be a buff in itself. As for the numbers, we'll have to see.

the pick up range will not have an impact lol. Ur grabbing a divine orb no matter wat, 0.2 seconds wouldnt change anything unless u a bot that farms at peak perfection

With this change can already bind mouse wheel to m1 and just drop whatever got picked up that you dont want. If anything according to loot filter. What gog said about t1 players was spot on.
