Getting the courage to do this the 1st time is what is hard for me to wrap my head around. Not knowing if your technique is correct, or if your suit is going to work as expected are HUGE unknowns with HUGE consequences. I realize they have a parachute if things don't go as planned, but that doesn't necessarily mean things can't go horribly wrong. Kudos to these two for pushing the limits and not letting life just pass by sitting on the couch. This has got to be an incredible experience!!

A very nice explanation! It is not a death wish to jump out of a airplane or from a cliff like many people say, it's a so intensive feeling to be alive. And to know you win the fights against your fears is realy impressive too! Like this video and love to fly too...

That was awesome. I went skydiving a couple of times last year and I'm taking a free fall course as soon as the schools open back, and the thing that inspired me was this desire to use a wingsuit. I hope I get the chance one day.

That's a really intimate experience to share between to lovers and friends.... To cheat death, fly, and return to earth together and in one piece. My homeboy asked me to go skydiving with him at 13,500ft because he knew I was the only friend he had that would take that risk with him.... I was honored he trusted me like that so of course I jumped with him. It was both of our 1st time and we both went tandem... But still, it took guts!! 🪂

Life needs to feel good. "Sitting home and doing nothing... is way more risky than going out and breathing and living." She's right: not going for it - whatever it is that you want to go for, write a book, make a milllion, win the beautiful girl, etc. - is much more risky than not going for it. Risk-reward. And even if you fail in your first, second, third, attempt, you learn, improve and grow. And that feels good. And if the worse case scenario happens, it is almost always not anywhere near as bad as you imagined. And, hey, you might make that million, write that book, win that girl. In any event, you can be proud of yourself that you tried rather than spend your life wondering what would have happened if you would have overcome your fear and tried... so, yeah... Go for it! Unless you're doing what these guys are doing, then you have to make sure and double sure and triple sure.

It's an amazing achievement (for any sky diver - alive or dead) for sure and not everyone can do it even other "ordinary" experienced skydivers but it still is a long way from humans actually flying like a bird- gliding/soaring yes definitely but maybe not even soaring unless being able to ride the thermals upwards. A big foil suit!
