You weren’t missing anything with Dance Moms…it was basically a show about child abuse, where they danced…and got yelled at a lot, and the girls were regularly in serious emotional distress, and the Mom’s were…a mess…and Abby (the dance instructor) liked to yell at them, criticize the girls and their parents personally far beyond anything that would be a dance correction. I enjoy some trash TV, but this was just too hard for me to take. I feel for those poor girls, and I hope they made enough money from the show to pay for all the psychological therapy they are likely going to need.

@@pandabbbb in the actual dance competition world, no the moms don’t fight like they did on the show. It’s kind of debatable if the fight on the show were real. Sometimes they’d literally be told that they (moms and kids) couldn’t leave the studio until the moms fought, this is why there are so many random fights about things that seemingly don’t matter.
