THis song is so masterful. It is more moving than any of their other stuff. It makes me feel emotions and memories that I never could recall if I were to try. Also It leaves me with an emotional lump in the throat, (feelings that were intense as it was yesterday-the earlier 90's. Also after watching it a few times I found a very profound respect for CC Deville. Man can he play that metal blues at the same time! And his Character is so neat... One of the things about great guitarists is knowing when and what to put in a song "for" the song...some times you need to shred...sometimes you need to hang one note for a 64 count...this is By far CC's best solo...my only issue with it is...he had it so melodic he didn't need to shred in it it...yet still did...best parts of this is when he slows down enough for those notes to shine through...and they do...everything everyone says about it...pure feeling...but man...let it breathe....

I felt this before now I feel it again No matter how hard I try This feeling won't end So I pretend you're here by my side Tonight on this lonely ride Keep telling myself that Life goes on while you're miles away And I need you Time rolls on as night steals the day There's nothing I can do You heal up my wounds I tasted your tears You spilled out your heart So I let out my fears But one fear that I kept to myself How I prayed that you'd love no one else Like you're saying you love me Life goes on while you're miles away And I need you Time rolls on as night steals the day There's nothing I can do If you only knew how much I miss you When my mind plays these tricks on me It shows me things I don't want to see That's why I tell myself now I keep telling myself now Just take another piece of me Life goes on while you're miles away And I need you Time rolls on as night steals the day There's nothing I can do Life goes on you're still miles away And I need you And this last mile I travel with you

CC played the greatest rock n' roll guitar solo ever recorded in "talk dirty to me" Nothing else even came close, by him or anybody else, it isn't by accident that the"obligatory guitar solo" is thankfully DOA, honestly this one is a boring waste of song time, like all the other ones

The 80"s and 90"s music will always be unique. The music, the lyrics, the atmosphere, something that can not be describe with words.

Yes, those three decades (70’s, 80’s, 90’s) supplied us with “greatness” and the best of rock, pop, alternative, and rap( if that is your flavor). It also illustrates, in comparison, how awful the last few decades have been.

OMG... Out of all of their songs this one captures the most unrealized memories that unfolds on a subconscious level when I close my eyes and listen.. it also as I trip out at my emotions in my body my throat tightens sadness washes over at a compound of memories washing over but not exactly at one particular thing 'that I could say' This song is very masterful ly created and composed and we never knew it or would have ever thought..back then. There are other love songs from poison, but do not have that effect on me. Does anybody feel the same way, that this song really touches in deep to the body , I mean if you grew up in the 80s?
@Ezojazol Жыл бұрын
It's because this song is about anything but life really going on. It talks about memories and bad feelings that keep coming back to you and you just can't avoid them. You keep going but your life doesn't really go on cuz you're stuck with all that shit insinde of you.
