I mean the first shot/trailer we saw for gen 9 was just a room/college dorm with a board having the first evolutions of the starters and yet the game didnt fully play in the school. (I know, wierd exsample) We know its a legends game. Its in Kalos. We know its name. We know Mega evolutions return. We know that Lumiose City will be in the game and possibly play a rather big role. We dont know anything else

I knew for damn sure we were getting another Legends game. Zyrgarde was one i had slotted as a possibility, though bottom of my list that they'd surprise us with Zyrgarde. Gen VI was what helped me come back to Pokemon as a Young Adult and to see it get a Legends game to now be a followup to ironically the Legends game that was made for my first game i ever played (DP) was just so great. I have a lot of hopes and so much i've already been speculating. God i wanna speculate with someone so badly!

My prediction: based on the circa 1850 Haussmann’s Renovation of Paris. This project started not long after a series of revolts against the king ( what Les Mis was based on ) and ended up with a then president but soon to be Emperor Napoleon coming to power and essentially saying that red tape and money doesn’t matter we just have to make Paris a utopia instead of the cholera riddled poisoned river city that it is. While the project did greatly improve Parisian life, it was run by Haussmann who was essentially given free reign to evict people from their homes and commit a legal form of fraud to pay employees and rack up national debt. This project greatly improved the water ways and also doubled the size of Paris while adding in beautiful pavilions and enough space and housing to allow Paris to thrive, but did come with the trade off of forceful displacement of locals causing much discontent against Emperor Napoleon.
