Everytime I hear his theme, whether it's listening to it on KZbin or actually battling him, a sense of happiness floods me. It's just so happy sounding and at the same time gives off a sense of power in a way. Barry is pretty much the best rival in Pokemon in my opinion, mainly because of how that tune is literally a drug or dopamine machine

This is nice because it pretty much debunks the myth that Barry’s team grows 10 levels after 10-19 hall of fame records, while also confirming that his levels do in fact grow 20 after more than 20 hall of fame entries. It backs up not only with my experience, but from other people on the internet too. I beat the elite four 10 times and his team was still level 60ish which was a BIG let down! Bulbapedia should really fact-check that. Cool team tho! Btw, Barry isn’t encountered in the fight area, but in fact the Survival Area.
