I really do love this game as it’s the one that got me into Pokémon in the first place. It’s not a perfect game but it’s the most important one for me. Plus it introduced one of the most interesting Gimmicks ever seen in the series. The ost slaps and here’s hoping we get the Pokémon Z remake on the switch and or future console.

My first Pokémon game was Y, I don’t exactly remember why I got a Pokémon game in the first place as I don’t recall indulging in any Pokémon-related media prior. But I do recall choosing Y because Yveltal looked cooler then Xerneas, and I chose Chespin cause it didn’t look feminine like Fennekin, and didn’t look like it came from some sort of leapfrog related media like froakie did, which was the thought process of 9 year old me. When it comes to my first exposure to Pokémon that I can think of I faintly remembering my great-grandmother having a bin of small toys, most of which were probably McDonald’s toys, as the Walmart she worked at had a McDonald’s inside of it. Two toys I remember being in there were a woobat and a Bloo (FHFIF) toy, though I did not recognize either of them at the time.
