When they say ‘first featured games’ they might be alluding to future games adopting a similar reward. Seems a little late in the game to do anything for Sword and Shield or LGPE

Not really too late. We still have yet to get shiny Keldeo and shiny Victini for example.

@@Leto85 I’m not saying they won’t debut Shiny Victini or Keldeo, just that it seems unlikely that the method will be completion for past games. I would think giving that much attention to Sword and Shield or so could run the risk of cannibalizing some attention from their newer game, which might be an unsound business strategy. But I’m not speaking to anything with certainty, there was no Shiny Meloetta a week ago so who knows?

I think when Pokemon Z A comes out and all of it gets intergrated with pokemon home we will get more rewards like the Meloetta
