Noticed at the beginning you used the ability patch instantly on Corsola before the run, one thing you could do is just buy the ability patch and then once the run starts you could use it on Corsola, that way it will return to you after the run is over

Due to crashes I always use save states every time I enter a new "Floor" after defeating a gym leader, It might be something you could do for the sake of not having to deal with the pain of losing runs to crashes as there is literally nothing less fun/more frustrating than that

Just a tip. If you buy an item in the HUB and want to use it on most or even all starters, just leave it in your bag. Once you start the run, use it. That way you buy it ONCE and use it on every starter, on every run. Your only limit is bag space.

If you save an item like an ability patch until you start a run then it will respawn whenever you go back to the hub. That way, you only ever need to buy 1 for whatever starter you choose. Of course, you already used yours in the hub, so now you need another 10k to do that

You said something about not knowing what the bakery does Cupcakes give 1 IV for their respective stat Pies give 5 IVs for their respective stat Basically the only thing you save by making pies is money. Raising IVs sucks, I've been trying to max my shiny Ninetales's IVs for the past week.

To avoid any game breaking glitches if you are on an emulator is to use save states. They are really useful if you don't like restarting due to glitches Edit: He started using them

I have to say I'm really happy you posted these videos about Emerald Rogue, I found it through another streamer, and it's a fantastic and entertaining experience. I honestly watch these and take away a lot of things to try on my own runs. I am currently increasing the pokemon gen after a successful or unsuccessful attempt to help increase the mons that I can find in the safari zone to use as a partner. That and I want a lot of shinies lmao. I look forward to more of these in the future, streams or edited videos! 👍

Cal you can buy a lucarionite and give a sun stone to evolve your riolu on the hub and give it the lucarionite before you start so you literally start with a pokemon that mega evolves Also you can get the orb and start with primal groudon

sorry about the glitch, that sucks. I think you should save state in case something like that happens, that's totally fair. I wouldn't care if you save stated even if the glitch didn't happen, but as long as you're enjoying yourself, you do you. I enjoy it all no matter what

being a prevo enjoyer, there's been quite a few times where i just wanted to use an eviolite strat but it was so annoying to just keep interrupting the evolution they should add like a special npc to some of the stops that just toggles on a "will not evolve" for a pokemon not only this game, but i feel like it should become a staple in pokémon in general everstone should just be come a key item or something and you can use it on anything like the legendary transformation items from gen5
