In Pokemon Legends Arceus, Yanmega looks intimidating asf but its actually quite friendly. It just hovered around me. Other Yanmas are flying around me. Its so nice. (Aside from the Alpha Yanmega, its still agressive lmao!) This is probably one of the best Pokemon games. It gave personality to Pokemon. Not just 3d models on display during battles.

The opposite happened for me, I saw a group of 3 Paras near eachother and I thought they looked cool, so I walked in the middle of all of them because I thought they would be passive and friendly like Bidoof, but then they all started to attack me at the same time and I died. If you took them tp your pokemon, you might discover how you can control stronger pokemon without a badge, and therefore without the league's permission, and possibly control _uncaught_ pokeballs and destabilize the world order. About 04:47 That's both factually and canonically correct. There is a video made by Did You Know Gaming? just addressing such phenomenon. There is a pretty obscure Pokémon lore book that was only released in Japan that tells us that all Pokémon do shrink in size when they're weakened or drowsy. It's supposed that some researchers during the late XIX century gave a Primeape some "juice" to appease its fury just to find it later comfortably napping inside the "juice" flask! That's why the scientists gave them the name "Pocket Monsters". Best regards!

The shrink down is a weird call back to the old gen 1 manga, much of which was not game lore accurate. The games described the poke ball as turning them into energy. Hence also able to be transmitted to computers and through them for storage and trade

I don't think the games ever said poke balls turn pokemon into energy. That's always been the PC system, which is a recent invention compared to poke balls. Also, I've heard the guidebooks for Gen one in Japan also referred to pokemon being able to shrink, albeit only under certain conditions.

Realise that Gyarados is originally supposed to be a Dragon type but apparently it either fell from grace over time OR also the legend of a Carp Turning in a Dragon, it sort of fail to turn completely, some myths mix the both that originally it turned into a Dragon but it lost the ability with time, the Mega Evolution doubles down on falling from grace concept by giving him a Dark Type.
