Hey Tim I grew up watching your videos back when you were playing Majoras Mask and Conkers Bad Fur Day and I just wanted to let you know how comforting your content was for me. I grew up without a lot of friends and my family generally paid me no mind, so getting to laugh along with you was truly such a gift. Thank you

Kekekeke and there they go, our volunteers got badly wiped. Yeah, in this version of PMD, I can easily see how they can get wiped. There is actually good synergy between the mons that live in the underground caverns and as such, water types and rock types can have quite a bad time dealing with the challenges. Especially Octillery and Golem. Octillery describes herself as a grappler. This means she focuses on melee attacks and a signature Headbutt attack. Golem is a sturdy tank. Both are short range mons that get wrecked by the ranged attacks in this dungeon. Blastoise on the other hand is more equipped, but a certain weather condition neuters his damage. No wonder they wiped! Kekekeke some fun information on Team Hydro, Team Constrictor and Team Rumblerock. In PMD Red and Blue, Makuhita Dojo was a bit different. You go through 3 floor typed themed dungeons with a boss of 3 Pokemon on the 3rd floor. In the post game, you unlock the ability to challenge these teams. It is revealed that Team Hydro is Blastoise, Swampert and Feraligatr. Team Constrictor is Octillery, Tentacruel and Cradily. Team Rumblerock is Golem and two Graveler. Apparently, Shifty's team also has 2 Nuzleaf.

To give you an idea of where we are storywise, we are about 85% done with the main story. Just Magma Cavern and its boss fight (which is the semifinal story dungeon and boss) and then the final story dungeon and boss immediately after.

I’m STILL trying to beat the postgame after all these years, it’s that lengthy without a guide.

Trying to recruit Mew and slowly doing the PG dungeons. I feel like my party keeps running into monster houses and while I’ve maxed out my trio stat wise (Vaporeon, Latias, Meganium) I’m still worried about recruiting Mew since I have Squad up with Friend Bow and it’s still not getting recruited. And Kecleon of course as well as those other “Level reset dungeons”

@@KlaviceGavin For Monster Houses, you'll need foe-hold orbs or petrify orbs that can stun enemies. That or give Vaporeon "Blizzard" and nuke the whole room you're in including monster houses but you'll need to buff up its accuracy. For Mew... I've recruited him so many times it's not even funny. You might need to boost up the friendship a little more. Squad up and Friend bow, huh? Do you have any pokemon with the Rare Quality "Friendly"? That makes things more easier to recruit pokemon( even combined with Squad up). Also a inviting orb won't hurt either.
@benjaminpeterson45523 күн бұрын
@@KlaviceGavin There’s always the Inviting Orb. With it in conjunction with the Friend Bow I was able to get Mew on the first try (leave the dungeon immediately with an Escape Orb and Mew becomes a permanent team member) As for the “Forest” Ariados with Swords Dance and Fell Stinger (both of with it randomly starts with) is your best chance. And the “cave” is best with Politoed (who defaults with Perish Song) and Pokemon with Narrow Focus. (Same goes for the “tower”) Best bring a Helper Orb for the boss fight at the end of the cave.

Man, I forgot how *absolutely insufferable* Gengar is. I remembered him as the instagator of the Fugitive Arc but I forgot he continues to just... be LIKE THAT even afterwards

the amusing thing about the Team Blastoise formed out of himself and the best of his buddies is that. They're probably the right level and type and with Good Moves. They seemed to be well prepared. How did they fail? It's a question without an answer. Unless you think of a specific gameplay mechanic. And no it had nothing to do with Hunger. Crazy thing is Team ACT had to have more levels and prep, and yet they're still stuck down there! What's going on?
@bekahmccue24 күн бұрын
Huh. Actually, that's interesting because it's like a subtle hint to players who are/whose partner is a Water-type that this upcoming dungeon may not be as easy for them as they would think

There's a Rare Quality that gives you better prices in dungeon shops, and I believe this also affects Wigglytuff if you buy the camps via the Orb. These things are way more expensive in the remake from what I see. In original, if you kept grabbing money in dungeon and storing it at Persian, so it wouldn't get lost, you should relatively easily buy all the areas available in main story by the time Magma Cavern rolls around, and it only got kinda hard in postgame where the new camps were way more expensive. Then again I think you can also buy way more of them in remake before credits roll? But yeah, the main story here is just one part of it, there's a pretty chunky postgame.
