poorlovell16 If I recall you breed for perfect IVs first and then use the destiny knot. Keep the foreign mon and breed that way. Say one has perfect HP attack and defense while the other has Sp attack and Sp defense and speed. They can overlap and combine on some eggs.

I would like to throw out there that if you breed two pokemon of different species (Example a Tailow and a Pidgey) the baby Pokemon will almost always (if not always) be the same Pokemon as its mother. Also female Pokemon have nearly a 90% chance to pass its ability to the baby, so thats a helpful tip for passing Hidden Abilities to the babies.

Shawn van den Berg No it is never guaranteed. Though the female vastly improves your chances. But pro tip, you will want a Huge Power Marrill instead, Sap Sipper isn't so good for Marill.

This is a great video, and I'm basically using it as a guide to IV breed an Aron (Mega Aggron wall, here I come). Interesting thing to note that you missed out, Magma Armor and Flame Body stack with each other. So, if you get one pokemon with Flame Body and another with Magma Armor, eggs hatch in 1/4 of the time they normally would.

you can also get a everstone from your base, I got over 60 everstones. Just ask your base pals to pick up stones, and you have a pretty good chance they hand a everstone over.

I'm JaySwizzle and I give this guide a five out of five, the only complaint I have though is that most of the time, you have to get a female of the Pokemon and it usually has to be in its adult stage to be compatible for having an egg with Ditto (as most male Pokemon, or all the ones I've tried, are not compatible with it-- though I guess Manaphy is one of those odd genderless exceptions).

I have a 5 IV charizard with a 3 IV ditto; my charizard is holding the Knot while my ditto is holding the power item for the perfect stat it has that my charizard doesnt. I've already hatched 3 other 5IV charmander, and even a shiny using masuda and shiny charm. Still no 6IV charmander. Besides getting a specific nature, is there anything else i'm not doing right?

If yiu want to get a higg search level on ypur dexnav tp increase the chance of more ivs and eggmoves etc just use sweet scent and horde encounter them that way you can get up to at least level 200 in no time

What about Hidden Abilities? I have a Female Zubat with the Hidden ability: "Infiltrator", and a Male Aerodactyl with 5 perfect IVs, and Both are part of the Flying Egg Group. Will the Zubat I hatch have a chance of having its hidden ability? Or do both Pokemon need to be of the same Species for the Hidden ability to be passed down?

T and M corp because the Tyrogue Line is Physically offensive, and cannot learn any Special Attacks. Which is why I'd rather have 3 Tyrogues with Perfect IVs in everything except Special Attack. But Since the Tyrogue Line can only Breed with Ditto, I wanna make sure I do NOT get Special Attack IVs. Still, it would be Great having a 6 IV Ditto! But again, finding a 6 IV Ditto is easier said than done!

CyberAnkylo Yes, and no. Generally, people breed for 5 IVs, ignoring the 1 IV for an attacking stat that they do not use (like your Greninja not using attack).The exception to this is if you are using a mixed attacker. As of ORAS, Greninja are more commonly mixed attackers, as STAB Protean Gunk Shot can OHKO fairies with a little attack investment such as Azumarill (if you run a Naive or Hasty nature, something a mixed attacker will have to run, as they need all the power they can get for a mixed attacker). It's also important to have perfect IVs in HP, and both defenses, because it makes the difference between barely surviving a super effective hit, compared to being KO-ed.

I never cared about Iv´s and neither Ev´s after I found out about them I CAN´T STOP , its blowing my minding , trying to breed an Audino 5 IV with Wish and Draining Kiss I managed to get those 5 IV that I wanted and Draining kiss , now I need to breed again to get those same 5 IV´s and + Wish + Regenarator Ability I guess its all about patience

I was recently at the Pokemon league, and I thought my Meditite and Shuppet would come in handy, especially since I considered the former's types a good combination in battle. Thing is, I just realized they're actually quite weak, because I hadn't used them so much after all. I'd pretty much kept them stored in the box while using my other (and very useful) Pokemon. Are there any specific ways I can work their ways up, to higher health and levels more quickly? I don't want to just go to random places to battle random Pokemon and trainers. Specific guidelines and goals would help. Oh, also, why did they make a 3DS game of training/questing in Hoenn if that series was invented years prior?
