I found myself in a similar position, Im 31 and found myself playing Pokemon more than I ever had. Everything from TCG, rom hacks, and legends of Arceus. The nostalgia reminds me of the better days when I was a kid, waking up every morning to watch the latest pokemon indigo league episode with my little brother before school. Pokemon is something to behold, it's an escape. I taught my two little boys how to play, and so does my wife. We are the professors for the future pokemon players. And yes I'm definitely buying the battle academy, after this video.

The repeats are like u said- they're for consistency of the deck. Tbh, they seem pretty good (for casual play) as is, but of course they can use some adjustments.

I think they are probably reprints of cards from other sets but with there own promo stamp for each deck. so yes and no I think? lol

They are reprints so will be of lower trade value and resale. They have a symbol on it to show it’s from the battle box but are legal for play

@@Vakeal well then it would depend on if you like playing with more vintage style cards or the newer types. is you like playing with vintage cards they have a set called 'evolutions" which is a cool reprint of old cards. if you want newer cards then "darkness ablaze" is the newest set and thats a cool one.
