Non just like our reality, the humans in the Pokémon universe would probably discriminate between the species. Just as in Asian they believe fish have no souls so they are considered dumb creatures to eat. Same could be said for Pokémon too.

There is also possible logical explanations as well, not including obvious ones, some pokemon might actually be toxic to eat anyways, or we as humans in the pokemon universe might have subconscious restraints that keep us from eating humanoid pokemon and such. If I had to make a guess, fish is very likely the primary diet of the entire pokemon world since there is almost no location without fish based pokemon, hell you can technically find variations of them in areas without water even. If not fish, there is plenty of pokemon which are based off farm animals like cows, chickens, pigs, ect. If we wanna go even further in, it is very likely that some pokemon might be considered rare dishes and gourmet, like I imagine most rock and metal pokemon might actually taste delicious if you can crack them open, like how lobsters and crab are delicious, which also applies to them in pokemon as well. There would be quite a few pokemon either too dangerous or too poisonous to try and eat though, like I imagine that most psychic type pokemon would be impossible to eat since they would be able to tell what you are thinking anyways, and trying to eat a poison type would be pretty stupid.

To be honest, kinda "eh." Not in animation or presentation, but the creepiness is kinda limp. Oh nooo, my pokemon's week-one egg is going to be eaten. I expect that from breeders who would cost way more than a three hour child-labor job's pay at the hotel. Shit I'd get a chuckle out of panda burgers and fletchling omelets. Now maybe if it got extended to something like he has a fake happy humming as he enters a secret door filled with young Pokemon pelts and abused babies. Or we had a day in the life of him dealing with hatching living swords, witnessing ditto intercourse (off-screen), and the such, with him straight up destroying the egg in frustration after you reject it....

Other video sites arent nearly as convenient as youtube, the + update actually only brought positive things.. (if you ignore those annoying users)

I very much dislike google+ being added to youtube, I'm not a fan of things being forced on me. They may have added a few features however the overall response to google+ being added to youtube has been very negative. I'd stop complain if they successfully eliminated spam made google+ optional and changed the thumbs up and like bars back to green. SERIOUSLY, why blue, is it because they need to make it more like facebook or twitter? Green has been the established colour for good or go. WHY BLUE DAMMIT?!

The great majority of youtube users actually dont care about the update, even if the comment sections let it "seem" like its the "§overall response"...

As for the spam that is a valid complaint, but youtube said they should be fixed by tomorrow. As for the other junk, oh I remember when youtube switched to the like system, people blew a shit storm then too. Now who remember's it? If the majority of youtube doesn't remember the star ratings, I doubt they'll be devastated about the blue like bars.

thats what makes this video both funny and creepy at the same time, kids who are just introduced think that no one eats pokemon and are more so companions , and in the case for those who grew up with the series know a bit better. but in terms of the whole morality think of it like this a bird or reptile you wanted baby sat suddenly has eggs and you think that the person will take good care of it and send it to a new home but the truth is hes doing this which i'd doubt people would find very appealing
