Xerneas probably would be, and maybe Yveltal would be somewhere on the lower end, but I don't really see zygarde on there, especially since Zamazenta kinda does the same thing, but better. Also I think the reason why they aren't in the game is because of Legends ZA, just like the gen 4 legends who aren't obtainable in the game and can only be transferred through HOME. Maybe once ZA releases the gen 6 legends will also be added?

And zygarde being able to drop that typing for something that’s not 4x weak to ice sounds absolutely diabolical, then Tera dark wicked blows next to yveltal ? But ehh who knows, we'll have to see if they even get added in the first place

Insanely slow, unfortunately. Lots of reads, but the board position progression really crawled. They really needed to take one another's Amoongi more seriously. Game 2's first round was one of the most insane battles I've seen, though. Giovanni read Justin like a book in the first half, then Justin completely turned it around in the second!

Something I don’t understand about Eric Rios is the guy’s stamina. Wolfey always mentions not haven’t time to rest when his sets go to game 3, but so many of Rios’ sets that only make it to 2 games are not only incredibly long but super intense. How does he do it?

It's always: Incineroar, Incineroar, Flutter Main, Flutter Main, Urshifu, Urshifu, Rapided and or Single Strike Style. Amoongus, Amoongus, Foongus! Amoongus! Rillaboom, Rillaboom, Rilla! Boom! ((Bang!)) Ogerpon, Ogerpon, Well spring 💧 🌱 🌼 and or Hearthflame 🔥 Mask 🎭 Raging Bolt ⚡ 🔩 Raging Bolt ⚡ 🔩 Caylarex, Caylarex, Shadow 👻 and or Glacier ❄️ form. Peliper, Peliper, Chien - Pao, Chien - Pao, Tang - Lu, Tang - Lu, Chien - Yu, Chien - Yu, Ursaluna, Ursaluna, Original and or Blood Moon form. Farigaraff, Farigaraff, Tournadus, Tournadus, and then it's Landeruse, Landeruse, Incarnate and or Therian Forme. And then again in repeat: Incineroar, Incineroar, Flutter Main, Flutter Main, etc. 😅 I mean don't get me wrong here, I don't hate these Mons, because I would also use them on a Team. People on stream are usually the top of the top, they are there to win so using the best pokemon is what they'll do. Months filled with hours of prep work, cost of signing up + flights and hotels, they're not bringing bulbasaur

It's partially because top players are able to recognize the best pokemon to use, but it's mostly bc of power creep, like Intimidate Incineroar is just so unbelievably useful, it's hard to not use it when you're committing so much time, effort, and money into getting to this high level tournament

A lot of it is also power creep, the pokemon company wants people to use the newer pokemon so they make them noticeably stronger, and it's hard to use interesting technical pokemon when it's a restricted format and calyrex can blow you up in one hit

I enjoy the commentary! I do agree that there are a lot of long gaps between matches that get annoying, as well as the ads (though the ads are probably the main reason why the Pokémon Company bothers with this anyways).

Yeah...when they use commentators like Aaron "Cybertron", or Wolfey it's much better. Gabby annoys me, and most of the others for this tournament feel like they just are not that knowledgeable about the format. That said, if they were actually top competitors, they would be playing...so there is that.
