@kirbyfan1005 yes EVs r in gen 1. as well as gen 2. but in Gen 1+2, all the EVs can go up to 255 in every stat. as well as the IVs are 15, not 31. which is the reason why you cant trade pokemon from gen 2 to gen 3.

@shadowsa2b no, there are EVs and IVs in both gen 1 and 2, however there is no Cap to it. meaning you can have 255 evs in every stat. also, pokemon in gen 1 and 2 have 15 IVs, not 31. which is why you cant trade from gen 2 to 3

PMP should do more different gen battles like this. I don't have a problem with 4th and 5th gen, but mixing it up with different Pokemon games from different generations makes the more interesting.

Paralysis is the most useful status in Gen 1. At least half of a normal team are Body Slammers. There wasn't any way to get rid of it, and Wrap made it horrible to deal with.
