I like to think that rock type pokemon canonically sing rock music as they fight

This is actually really deep. The final part of this episode was just ameizing!: Even though Charmander is a totall Pshycopath his main goal (aside from becoming stronger) has always been to reach true freedom and get away from the master and servant system everyone plays by. This is why he (as a trainer) always fights next to his team and why he never waits for a turn. The Final battle between Wiskers and Charmander is so cool bcs: Wiskers who came from the capterpes who are all loving and supportive is fighting like a slave to protect her trainer but bcs of the love she has recived she ignores the faults in the system. Charmander acts like an asshole towards everyone but still fights for freedom. We see the problem with Charmanders aproach in Sandslash: Bcs Charmander belives in true freedom he won't force Sandslash to fight with him (which would have saved his life) and so Sandslash just leaves

I love how they make such a big deal about Squirtle. When he's literally been gone for like half the story. He got captured about 30 minutes prior to us seeing him again. And you gotta remember Squirtle wasn't even with them until the end of the third episode. Bulbasaur and Charmander have been a duo for pretty much the same amount of time that the team has been a trio. This is literally like Sasuke in naruto. Hes been gone for most of the story yet the still miss him so much.

its not the final episode. Shippage said there where at least going to be 3 more episodes. but he animates this all by himself so it takes a long time for new episodes to come out. people complain that it takes him too long but that complaint is invalid because usually you need a whole team to animate an episode or movie and that takes months(or sometimes years) on end. now imagine all of that work falling on one person. yeah that would probably take you a few years too. so just be patient more episodes will come. and when those are out patterz can react to that too.

I remember being shocked when this came out, for multiple reasons. Though the series took a different turn, I'll always appreciate Charmander's struggle that turned into Rock Smasher. The writing was REALLY good, and the fact they were able to turn "die" into a beat is an achievement in itself. ..."You'll suffer the blunt of a force hard and blunt it's time to cut you down to size!" (Gonna go play that again)

Honestly Charmander is neutral he even said to surrender and give back Squirtle and he would spare all the Caterpies but since the Caterpies attacked him Charmander used a tactic called self defense which then he fights back and is going to destroy every last one Charmander is not bad he's trying to just get his friend back
