That Russian solder was battling to make a decision to surrender while his life is slowly running out of him. Instead of him to surrender because in his situation nothing he could do, all hope has gone, surrendering was the best option but he keeps dragging his burn body on the ground. He knows they are looking at him because he gaze right at the drone.

Can't help feeling sorry for him. He knows that nobody on his side will be coming to rescue him. Russian soldiers at the front have been told that they will not be taken back to a hospital is they become injured. As a result there's are a growing number of videos of badly injured Russian soldiers, either alone or left to die by their comrades, committing suicide to hasten their own death. This young man's eyes show that he knows he's dying.

I want a free and prosperous Ukraine(Europe in general) but its really difficult and disturbing* to see that Russian kid slowly dying. Hes not a professional soldier(his gear is a mishmash) so probably a forced conscript. *I was in the First Gulf War and was an EMT in the early to mid 90s in LA..so Ive seen horrible things happen to people. Didnt make me more hardened, it made me more empathetic and adverse to human misery and suffering.

@@AbuHajarAlBugatti They are expensive to maintain if you have them standing around in some storage without using them when you compare them to manpads. as soon a war goes on and air defence is needed every day, they are cheaper since you need only few hundreds dollar to take down a drone instead using a missle of 120000 dollar. 5 stinger missles cost as much as a Leopard 1 on open market and this one took down 4 drones in one night, right? And those shells come in fast. a pilot that is tracked by a manpad gets warnings for seconds and can use flare. The gepard uses its radar in passive mode and just goes active with the other one shortly before the shells get delivered at 1400m/s, so the pilot would have less then 3 sec to react.

True. To die or not to die... Ukrainians with the help of those drones want to see if any of those soldiers wants to surrender. If a Russian soldiers wants to surrender, he would let the drone know about it. Then another drone with instructions will be sent and dropped for the soldier to follow in order to get to the Ukrainian trenches. There's a video about it, where a Russian soldier made it safely with the help from such a drone. And wounded soldiers can get a good medical care as POWs. Later they can be exchanged for the Ukrainian POWs.

Something important to know, for all who are interested in history and/or support Ukraine: Rus' ought not to be confused with modern “Russia”, which derives its name from the Rus' but historically is a completely different state, which almost all its existence was at war with the Rus'. Just like the Holy Roman Empire was actually Germany, “Russia” is actually Muscovy, despite their best attempts to convince everybody otherwise. Its name “Russia" received only in the 18th century, when Peter I simply changed Muscovy’s name into the “All Russian Empire” (Russia originates from Rosia, name used by the Greek Orthodox Clergy in regards to Rus') Under the reign of Cathrine II Muscovites where even punished for continuing to identify as Muscovites, and were forced to call themselves Russian. Lands that Russia (Muscovy) claims were part of the original Rus', but actually weren't, are Novgorod, Suzdal, and Ryazan, since in historical texts of XI-XII centuries they are mentioned as separate entities from Rus'. They can be considered parts of extended Rus', although their culture was distinct from main Rus'. In 1493, Muscovite duke Ivan III appointed himself to be the Great Ruler of All Rus'. No other kings acknowledged that. From that point on Muscovy started to make false claims on Rus' ownership. “Russia” is an offshoot of Ukraine and not the other way round, despite what Soviet and Russian (Muscovite) historians have been trying to say for years. A Slavicised Finnic, then later, Mongolized offshoot. Kyiv was a developed cultured capital when Moscow was just another swamp village. Germany used to call itself the Holy Roman Empire, that didn’t mean they became the Romans, and all of a sudden had a right to claim whole of Italy and its history, but yet, that’s exactly what Russia (Muscovy) did in regards to Rus'-Ukraine, which is a horrible injustice!

The story is true but was an old woman who gave sunflower seeds to a rusnya invader.... Those were the early days of invasion and orcs were offered poisoned cookies by ucranian citizens, and as a consequence some died and others needed medical attention for their bad conditions.... In a way having dead soldiers is far better than having wounded ones, because the latter eat up a lot of resources, in terms of medical care, special food etc... Slava Ucraina🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦!!!

Ich hoffe es kommt auch Munition. Wird ja jetzt hier selber in Deutschland hergestellt und die Schweiz hat per Beschluss ja jetzt die Lieferung von Munition frei gegeben. Also Munition dürfte es jetzt endlich für Gepard geben. Der Vorrat war ja recht knapp geworden.

@@andik859 no sorry. die Schweiz schickt keine Munition. Das ist eine Fehlinformation. Auch bei der Munition sind es wir. Rheinmetall hat eigens eine neue Fabrik in Niedersachsen errichtet und produziert gerade 300000 Schuss Munition für die Geparden, die im August ankommen werden. Die dann 52 Gepard Flackpanzer (das ist ne verdammte Hausnummer, sogar für die verhältnisse des Ukrainekrieges und kann im grunde die ganze Gegenoffensive gegen Gleidbomben absichern) können dann erstmals voll feuern. bisher mussten 3 duzend Geparden mit 60000 Schuss ganze 8 Monate aushalten. DIe Erhhöhung aus deutscher Produktion auf dast 5 fache, wird nen ganz guten Einfluss haben. Aber sorry. Die Schweiz tut das was sie immer getan hat. Gar nichts. DIe Schweiz ist ein schrecklicher Staat. Auf uns Deutsche schipft jeder, wenn Deutschland nicht sofort über jedes Stöcken springt, aber die Schweizer, die mit ihrer Egoistischen Neutralität zum Selbstschutz sogar bei sows zusehen und keine Waffenlieferungen nicht mal aus zweiter Hand erlauben, obwohl sie uns im zweiten Weltkrieg sogar bei einem Krieg gegen die ganze Welt und bei einem Völkermord vor ihren Augen an einem ganzen Volk mit Waffen und unmengen an Munition unterstützt haben, die kritisiert keiner. to be effective, any barrier needs to be covered with indirect fires and mines. Even the Maginoit line failed without its covering infantry and artillery units. Their purpose is to create a delay so indirect and directr fires can destroy the attacking assets.

1. junior drone swarming is not a new concept and it is most certainly not an Ukrainian concept, f-35 among others have been prepared for operating drones. Germanys skyranger system was created with drones in mind, the finish design and product was revealed in 2021, well before Ukraine started to use drones that way. 2. Junior, drone technology have exploded the last 5-6 and especially the last 3-4 years. Battaries last longer, materials are more robust and the carry capabilities and power pack have greatly increased the last 4 years. 3. Ukraine did not use drones like this in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and not up intill 2022, look at nr 2 to get a clue.
