Polaris Ranger Won't Go Over 15 Miles Per Hour | FIXED

So my Polaris Ranger won't go over 15 MPH. The seat belt light is blinking even though I have the seat belt on. This generally only happens when I undo the already buckled seat belt and actually put it on. If have this montage of seat belt blinking lights that I can never get to go away. I mean stop the Ranger, put in park, remove key start wait a few minutes, do a bunch of stuff like that and still can't get it to turn off. So I went ahead and ordered a seat bypass plug for about $6 on Amazon. Best thing you can do for this machine.

Hey Mr. you’re absolutely right about the seatbelt thing that controls high-speed. I finally put my seatbelt on and in high gear that 1000 RZR flies The dealer never told me I had to do that Plus it was a used RZR And the seatbelt would not come out fully from the mechanism down below So it didn’t really fit me of course I changed the seatbelt mechanism to Thanks for the information.

This literally just happened to mine and I was like wtf is happening. Well for me it was nothing more than not having the seat belt on, or connected and just trick it into "seat belts on " mode. Safety shit basically. Module is simply tricking it into think its connected. Nothing to do with throttle body here at all

@@carterburken675 Yeah my light was off too sometimes and still would only go like 15-17 MPH. Just get the bypass plug, save you the hassle of dealing with it.

No it was definitely the seat sensor.
