Update on my freinds machine. It was bad sensor switch on right side of transmission. Wouldnt let it sense from being in low when shifted in high. Local dealer rewired new switch sensor and back to working great.

Dan, Great heads up vid for us newer Polaris owners. I had same identical issue. Already own an '07 Ranger 700 which does not have this safety feature so it was easy to think this was standard. Then, we buy a new 2016 Polaris 900. I'm just sick thinking I have to take it back to dealer because it does not go over 10-15 mph. After several days I call dealership. Salesman made me feel like a boob! He says everyone knows the newer side x sides have a throttle speed safety feature which is released by using your seat belt!

OMG I just bought a new ranger today took it out for a drive and could not get passed 15 mph. I told my friend it feels like it has a governor on and the whole time I did not have a seat belt on. I am leaving right now to test this tip.....

Sorry, can't help you there. Mine doesn't have a governor on it, I have had it way over 50 mph. Maybe your machine is newer and they added that. Not sure.

Wire splice connector on the wire to the seatbelt. Problem solved in 30 seconds

570 will do about 45 or 50. 900 and 1000 will do 65 to 80 i was told
