The 2022 Can-Am X3 RR currently does not have a factory ECU out yet so we put our LaRue ECU on it and raced the Pro R.

Both those machines are sick. Super f*ing cool what you guys did with the ecu, tune and key on the x3. I almost ordered one. Waiting on a Turbo R and another Pro Ultimate both 2 seaters. Do you offer a tuner for the Pro? Dynojet I know, they originated here in my hometown. My engine light just turned on, first time ever, 3,800 miles. 1127 over/under boost. Air filter was way overdue. Installed K&N filter. Light still on. Any suggestions!?

@@818k5krawler No discount for waiting. I found out about this because I am looking for a 22 X3 and my dealer basically said it could be June if I wanted to order one. They said if I find one “in stock” it would likely be missing parts and can am is telling them about 90 days. I found a dealer near me that had a 22 XRS RR Smart Shox but it would be at least 3 months before it could be sold complete unless they get lucky.

@@818k5krawler my x3 max has been at the dealer since early December, no discount of course, he has about 15 machines all waiting, the manufacturer has run out of room to store, adding the electronics should take about 1/2 hour, hopefully its ready to go this month, it stems from Bosch, they make electrical components for polaris and can am, in the meantime Im just buying more and more accessories 😔

Do you know if race fuel on a stock X3 will make it perform any better, or faster?

Race gas burns slower. Its for high compression advanced timing. It will hurt the performance of a stock engine or a stock tuned ecm.

I thought You had to break in your engine before any pulls? I got my 2022 on Friday and they told me to go easy on it until the engine reaches a total of 24hrs driven

Curious how turbo work with hi compression pistons....hopefully some good tuning

They can probably push 6 lbs of boost with really good pump fuel, more with race gas. Turbo hayabusas were running 8 lbs on 11:1 pistons with pump fuel, albeit smaller pistons. Combustion chamber design and coolant passage trickery have come a long way in 30 years, allowing higher cylinder pressures before detonation.

Honda k series 11-1 runs up to 20psi with 93. Modern engine combustion chambers designs are way more detonation resistant
