I like Polblue but as you've said, it can get very busy at times due to its ease of access (even by 2WD vehicles). My favourite campground in that area of the Barrington Tops is (slightly out of the main track) Little Murray campground. Access is via 4WD only. The site is endowed with level grassy grounds, drop toilet and limited firepits and picnic table. I often find the grounds to ourselves when camping mid-week. Booking is a must - particularly during weekends or public holidays.
