What a beautiful piece! The wristshot made me reconsider 34mm watch size.

wrist oresence is all about dial size and lug shape. It’s a huge pet peeve of mine when youtuber say men can’t wear 34-36 because its too small.. men used to wear 31-33mm. if you try a watch on and you think it looks good, it is good. go try a 34 and see if you like it!

@@pickles632 I'll try them for sure! It looks so perfectly fine here. Thanks for your comment!

@@boujtonboul So I have a 7.5 wrist and i find 34 to be slightly too small for me but 36 is very classy! It just depends on the watch!

Really nice watch Norman. I just picked up a Benrus re-issue D-day commemorative watch with almost the same dimensions except it has an ETA 2801-2 hand wound in it with drilled lugs and it comes in around 10mm thick and like you I really like those vintage sizes but really like the 36mm.

Nice! Yeah 36mm is kind of my sweet spot, but have a few over/under pieces :)

Congratulations Norman! Looks like an early original. If you have a trustworthy watchmaker, get him to check if it's a bumper or micro rotor caliber. May I add that it's an early Gerald Genta design. FYI Eddie Platts of Timefactors is releasing a revival.

Thank you! I'll actually be doing a history vid of it Mon. I'll be sending it to TicToc watch repairs this week. It def needs a servicing :/ Thanks for watching!
@or61442 жыл бұрын
Of that's not a redial and if it's the original crown that came with that watch that's a winner right there. So many Polerouters being sold with a replacement crown.
