June 5th, 2000 at approximately 7pm, Nicholas Blasetsky left his home and was never seen again. Nicholas went back and forth between his home and his vehicle for a while, before leaving his driveway northbound on Eastway. Uncertain if he was being affected by sundowners due to his Alzheimer's, there is no way to know what direction he was going.

@@bjrnegillarsen1380 As Skoda cars were exported to quite a few Western countries before the VW conglomerate took over the brand, I reckon it's more likely to be one than a Lada (which were Fiat 124s built under licence mostly in Russia)! Even less likely would it be a Tatra as they were rarely seen outside the Eastern-Bloc countries!

The latter was pretty important many places up here as many had to rely on the nearest petrol station if they didn't want to drive 2-3 hours to the nearest town to get to a garage
