On a return trip to Albia, Iowa to continue our search for Harry Milligan, we were faced with a winter storm that was quickly approaching at the same time.

We wanted to search as much water as possible before the blizzard hit and the water was frozen over. The sheriffs department was gracious and allowed us to be escorted and the use of their side-by-side to transport us and the Lil’ Buddy to the ponds in question.
Unfortunately, the only answers that were provided to Mark and Lori, we’re once again, only where Harry is not.
We are looking forward to our upcoming trip and helping once more.

I learned to fish in ponds just like this. I taught my girls to fish as well. I had 3 within 2 1/2 years of each other. The middle one was my biological child, but no one ever questioned that. Welcome to Iowa. It can be 110° or -30°. This particular storm wasn't very bad. It merely got a wee bit slippery in the rural areas. One thing on your side is the low water. We've not had enough rain or snow in two years. The Mississippi River had icing called pancaking. That only happens when the water is extremely low. During the winter, it stays moving, just like the summer, just less recreational traffic.❤ You need a stocking cap and gloves Jacob! If you're not used to the weather, you can get hurt, or sick. Very hard on the sinuses and ears...then lungs. ❤😊
