A cop should be held to a hirer standard if he has been shown to not be trusted because his feelings are hurt to the point of retaliation. So when his word is proven to have lied about it. When a person who has been charged with a serious crime, regardless of innocence or guilty, will always be under scrutiny because his word means it should be questioned. Just think the people in this jurisdictions who could be victim of a crime and the person who has been charged and he likes them better will you, trust his decisions in that case. If you have been proven to compromise and your oath to the constitution because your butt hurt.
