Unbelievable, armed and trained law enforcement, listening to children getting shot in a classroom and literally doing nothing to stop it. You can't just blame the chief of police, each officer could have and should have immediately entered the classroom. Of course the chief is guilty but i believe each officer waiting in the hallway and doing nothing qre also to blame. Our hearts are with the families💛

Amazing how the lady who's suing them for arresting her attempt to save her kids, has already seen a court room and judge. Yet, the body cameras with incriminating evidence of dereliction of duty these officers swore to protect, is being kept away. Amazing the words used against citizens to entice a confessions, are being used against transparency to enforce responsibility and hold accountable the actions. It's heinous they protected the killer committing executions for over an hour. So sad. Kudos for call outs, but it's nothing unless they're behind a cell waiting bond for this.

These shootings and these politics are one of the few reasons people in their 20's such as myself just don't want to bring a child into this hell, and certainly not to leave one behind in this hell. I'd only consider it if I lived in Europe most likely. Right but once other agencies arrived, an upper agency should have established command. Not the small town department chief with small amount of local police. If the local chief couldn’t command that should have immediately been established and a higher law enf agency with a lot more officers should have established command and gotten the shooter. Also in todays world a small department isn’t cutting it for even small towns. The small towns need additional money and resources for more officers. Granted by the Governor. The small towns are always forgotten in this country.

I watched the entire video. The issue at hand was that the police chief of the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District had run for and won an election for Uvalde City Council. He is taking lots of flak, and rightly so, for his mishandling of the school shooting. He was sworn in as a city councilman in a private ceremony, and this was the first meeting of the council since he became a member. He was not present and had submitted in writing a request for an extended leave of absence from his council duties. Since he has been on the council for less than eight months, he can't be removed, and the council can't change policy for two years. Public comments overwhelmingly demanded that the council deny the request, saying that the chief could either miss three meetings and be removed for failure to engage or resign voluntarily. The council voted unanimously to deny the request. After that, the Mayor gave this update. Sheds a whole new light on the Director of DPS testifying in Austin before the Texas Senate.

I am the mother of Noah Green who was shot at the Capitol on April 2, 2021. Our family has been requesting to see videos of him inclusive of his shooting?and have been refused. Please look ay WUSA’s video from that day showing him wheeled on a stretcher to the back of an ambulance and ask why was it necessary to pull him up roughly by his arms several times? Also watch when they seem to hit his stretcher against the back of the ambulance and when they put him in. Transparency needs to start at the top.

the stand down order came from very high up
@TetraAlchemist2 жыл бұрын
Youre right. it had to have come from high up to illicit that grade of response. With that said: As a veteran, It is every soldier and enforcement officials moral responsibility to do disregard any orders that are unlawful. A soldier/officer does so at their own peril, knowing that regardless, they will be cited with disobeying orders. This is boot camp 101 and Field experience 101. Our duty is to the PEOPLE! Officers can be wrong, and superiors can be cowards. Bravery, courage and integrity is on the shoulders of each and every individual. Those officers are a disgrace to the scores of men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice to protect all that we hold dear!

POLICE DONT WANT CRIMINALS REPORTED: (Reporting Crime in Oakland County Michigan is far too costly!🕸 REPORTING CRIME or potential SHOOTERS to Michigan police will land the caller in court and broke!: After ANONYMOUSLY reporting a crime to the Oakland County Sheriff's department, the system will then send a criminal citation ticket, to the reporter through the mail, for false reporting. THIS IS THE HONEST TRUTH! (Police have caller ID and GPS tracking!) The crime reporter is then forcibly compelled to show evidence in court that the reported crime was actual, or about to happen and at the reporter's own expense ... Unless one of these folks just needs to blame SOMEONE, they should appreciate the honesty and openness this guy presents. People SHOULD be involved locally, but it sure would be helpful if people thought a little about who it is that has the power to do something, instead of using this guy as the fall guy - just because they can. And do any of them understand that a city government almost NEVER runs a school board? That's to keep party politics out of education as much as is possible. When the light bulbs need changed, it isn't the city worker up on the ladder, nor is it right having the Mayor decide school curriculum.

Beta spouted off too soon, not knowing enough facts and grandstanding for political gain. The situation we are in right now is far too complex to fix with a single mandate. How is it two generations ago access to firearms was far easier, yet you didn't see this type of heinous act? It is societal decay.. that decay brought about for many reasons. But blaming the gun is a vote winner with the ill informed. Until the true causes are identified and addressed, nothing will change. But do our political leaders REALLY care?
