Hi Friends Happy Monday !
A big thank you to you guys for subscribing, commenting, liking, disliking, whatever you do, I appreciate you SO MUCH! Words cannot express how happy I am that we have found some common interests here on youtube. Sharing our love for makeup and our INTEREST in true crime. I always say we like or enjoy, true crime but really what I mean is, were interested in it. I dont think anyone ENJOYS these awful stories, at least I hope not. Im rambling. I haven’t slept yet, I pulled an all nighter editing this so sorry if there are lots of mistakes. ANYWAYS, love you guys so much.
I wanted to talk about Mitrice Richardson, I feel like her story is pretty important. Her case got completely dismissed and not taken seriously, WHY?! WHY would they let her leave at 12:30 am without any car, phone, wallet, nothing?!?! Why was she arrested in the first place? Why why why why why. So many why’s and not enough answers here. There is also a LOT more to this story but I just couldn’t fit it in to one video, this one turned out way longer than expected. I will leave some links if you want to further learn about Mitrice’s story.
I hope for nothing but love, peace, closure and forgiveness for everyone involved. Mitrice was so young, so beautiful and had so much ahead of her. I pray for healing and love for the family. I also hope one day they can get some kind of closure. I know that doesnt mean much but , every family deserves closure.

This case is sooo messy. It makes me so angry no matter how many times I hear about it. It pisses me off that people abuse their power like this and don't take their jobs seriously. This is also exactly why being endlessly vocal about mental illness is so, so important. The world needs more empathetic people because we're losing that day by day.

I "think" the deputy who left when she(matrice) left followed her. And then had a tattooed lady try to "be nice and help" Matrice by offering her a ride, which is how she ended up in the man's back yard. And then she was sold in to prostitution and when they realized she was still being recognized killed her. And disposed of her body where she was 'last seen'

I also believe they had something to do. I already have a full story in my head. I think they kidnapped her "recruited her" for prostitution taking advantage of her state and then killed her when they felt the others were getting closer to finding her; planted her body in that canyon, hid clothes and body parts to avoid evidence, had the forensic guy on their side to rule "undetermined cause of death" and everything else. That's why they lied to her mom on the release time, why they denied surveillance footage and her erratic behaviour, etc etc etc.

I was a juvenile schizophrenic, It stopped about when I was 14 and she definetly seemed to have something wrong, maybe paranoid schizophrenia or just paranoia. The things she was saying about earth hit home because they seem like delusions which is a part of schizophrenia, I had delusions about aliens and earth being a simulation etc. This is such a sad and horrible case

Sounds like schizophrenia. She'd be in the right age range to get that. I have anxiety and depression and also studied psychology. I found that knowing a lot about the mind and physical brain made me paranoid and think I was developing many mental problems. Maybe something like this happened to her. In the end I moved away from psychology and went to administrative science.

The unreplied love for that girl could've been the trigger for an episode also, the using of weed. It so sad, she had so much energy. That with the wallet is ridiculous they could've brought her to the car and she could've told them where they should look. I kind of agree with your theory, schizophrenia iS characterized by jumbled words and though she seemed kind of paranoid i guess i would feel more confident in this theory if she was reported saying someone was after her or gave away delusions of grandeur, as paranoia in schizophrenia is usually characterized by feeling as if someone is after you. She also gave no signs of inappropriate emotion/flat affect so idk. Could it maybe also be she got into some bad drugs after her fallout with the girl she had a crush on or she got involved in it during her shady interviews and this caused her to spiral into that mess? Either way, poor girl. If only maybe someone had followed her to her car at the restaurant and monitored her as she looked for her wallet all of this would have been resolved.

fe fe pretty sure theres a name to characterize when this happens (people starting to self diagnose after they learn). Honestly you just have to be real with yourself and learn not to get super scared about developing something because everyone has certain qualities about themselves that arent the best or can be extreme sometimes but its not considered a disorder till you meet x amount of symptoms after a certain time period usually, and/or your displayed symptoms must be unjustifiable, maladaptive to yourself, disturbing/atypical. It would be very apparent probably. At the end of the day psych is rlly interesting just dont worry too much about it unless you really believe you or someone else is in danger

It’s so crazy and sad to know this is what happened to Mitrice. I knew Mitrice loosely in high school, I believe she was a year or two ahead of me. We actually took a trip to Cal State Fullerton together with our drama class. I remember thinking I couldn’t believe how great she was. I really looked up to Mitrice because she was so smart, outgoing, sweet, funny, confident, fun, and just seemed like she had it figured out! I think I found out about what happened to her just a couple of years after it happened. I was shocked and confused. Bailey touched on a ton of details I wasn’t tracking and it’s all just so confusing and frustrating! It’s not how I would have imagined Mitrice ending up and it just leaves you feeling ..... at a loss!

I was reading more about the story and read an article. In the article it said the manager who decided to press charges felt really awful and terrible about what happened. He regretted pressing charges so much after he found out she passed away. Also another thing Bailey did not mention is that there were plenty of people employees and customers who offered to pay the bill for her! Why didn’t he just let someone pay her bill and let her go she would still be alive it’s so sad 😭😭😭

If that is the truth then why would the manager have such an issue with who payed for the bill, as long as the bill got paid. Especially since her grandmother attempted to pay over the phone.
