So in the second case the taxi driver watches a woman jump out of a car and run away then two men get out and chase her drag her back to car and he doesn't think anything of it and goes about his day?. Surely any normal person would at least call the cops and try and get the car reg, I mean if they're dragging her back to the car you don't have to be a genius to figure out she didn't want to go with them and something was seriously wrong. I know people always say things like mind your own business but there's times when you have to make it your business and this was most definitely one of them.

All domestic abusers are at high risk of reoffending but in a justice system designed by men, it is difficult to even get a conviction for a male abuser, I don’t know a single woman who has been abused where the ex has been jailed. Even found guilty, community service (putting the public at risk).

Prison sentences here in Ireland are notoriously lenient. Life is usually 15-20 yrs max, but most get out earlier than that. Rapists get maybe 5-7 at a push. It’s ridiculous tbh ❤️🇮🇪❤️

But, we do detain people at His majesty pleasure, where the only person who can grant release is the governer general. WA has 3 of these killers detain and never to be released. They have been tireless in trying to get justice for Fiona. The trauma Ciara was put through before her death, and stress her family were put through by her murder is heartbreaking.

I work in Baltinglass(the home of Larry Murphy), it sickens me that he’s travelling around- Spain, London, Amsterdam and just living his life. The attack on that young woman was 100% not a first time attempt, he had done that before! He was also spotted in Deirdre Jacobs granny’s shop a few weeks before her disappearance, maybe just a coincidence, but I don’t think so!

I'm surprised you didn't mention the Michael Murphy case in Drogheda in the 00s as well - worth looking into - a history of violence with women, did 9 years in prison for manslaughter in the 80s and then killed a german hitchhiker in 2001, whom he also strangled. He got caught shortly after and is due to get out next year, which is absolutely fucking insane. I have inside knowledge about this case as my mum was friends with the killer back in the 90s. Give me a shout if you ever do a story on it

What tragedy. Whenever young people are murdered, the loss is so huge. For any family, the loss of young adult children is loss of the future. Not in old romance movies, like Gone With The Wind for example. Old movies, and even a lot of recent movies, teach boys that if they hit a girl enough and force her enough, she'll start to like it. And then a lot of girls and women claim Gone With The Wind or similar romance movies as their favorite movie, which misleads the boys even further into thinking that's how women want to be treated. Is it "consensual after a while"? Not for this woman! But pop culture tells boys and men otherwise.

Back when I was in active addiction, I used to hitchhike FAR more than I SHOULDA. I'm thankful every day that my dumbass is still around. Now that I'm clean, I could never fathom doing something so stupid. N I definitely didn't get by completely unscathed. I was raped and had to run across some train tracks to put distance between us so I could get away. They passed my road, and when I said something, they laughed and asked if I really thought I was gonna get a free ride. I was fucking terrified. I'm lucky that's the worst thing they did to me, tbt.

Listening to true crime, sleeping outside in a tent, rain pounding down, because it always does when I book a day off to go camping with my kid. Listening to Mike's voice spin out the eerie details of another disappearance on my headphones. My sleeping child woke from a dead sleep beside me, sat straight up and stared at me super intensely and started smiing and them laid back down to sleep. That was terrifying, my heart is still skipping beats 😅 If anything weird goes down and I disappear, somebody ask Mike to make a video about it 🙏

Wow! Amazing that they could not keep him in prison longer. The woman he was trying to kill was definitely not the first woman! He had everything he needed to kill in the car. As a little boy, my grandson used to say he was afraid of monsters and I would always tell him, “Honey, there are no monsters. The only monsters are people. I'm from this area. I was around 10 when JoJo went missing. I used to be terrified if I was out walking alone in case someone would come and take me. It was such a scary time for any girl or woman to be living in this area. I would love to know why the cave/bunker hasn't been searched. This country is a shambles
