You absolutely will have a career in the near future in either acting or consultant for tv shows involving police, you’re insight is obviously unquestionable, you’re exposure being on tv in the past means your use to it and people know ur face which is vital, and most of all, ur such a genuine, lovable guy and I would love seing you in a police drama knowing, this guy use to be a cop and he’s been through everything the job can throw at ya which as a viewer adds tat more real prospective. I really hope it happens for you because I love watching and listening to your insights. Anyway I’ve prattled on long enough, all the best mate.

Getting second hand PAVA'd is pretty grim. Ben makes a good point about how over the past 20 or so years the role of volunteers in the Emergency Services has changed dramatically and become a lot more focused and serious

Specials have definitely evolved and are now on par with their full time counterparts, they carry taser, can blue light and also can specialise and that includes into roads policing. To the public you would never know the difference

Ben last week i noticed a West Yorkshire police van last week in the Wakefield area with L-plates on it , is this unusual. When you going on a huge platform Video podcast etc like Shaun Attwood over the years i must have seen at least a dozen ex Police officers and their stories are so interesting ive also noticed most mention mental health problems. Shaun would also be great for your KZbin channel as he alway mentions and bigs up if they are content creators. No doubt it would help your channel. As always great to hear what Ben has to say.

We were watching an old episode of police interceprors recently and you chased someone down, he decamped and you went over to car looking through window and went "look at that, left his phone on seat, what a douche" and it wrote us off 🤣

Do you think since ANPR it’s made it easier for those without a license to drive legal cars as they just insure and Tax car in someone else’s name so when the police do a check on that car it comes back legal so they don’t bother to pull em

Im fairly sure as a vehicle passes an ANPR camera, the registration number is read and instantly checked against database records of vehicles of interest in the DVLA so would flag for no licence by the registered owner of it

@@bentaylor6995 Yes I understand that but dodgy people without a licence will drive a legal car that’s insured ,mot and taxed to a legal license holder knowing if the Anpr picks up Reg plate it comes back legal but the person driving isn’t .So police don’t stop the car .

I’ve had a motorcycle stolen The thieves were in the garden but I was in town My GF rang the police to be told it’s not an emergency The police are useless when it comes to stuff like this No wonder why so many are stolen
