I was station there at Ft. Carson, back in the 80s. Very proud of law enforcement to honor the fallen. We know, when we raise I our hands to take the oath, that something like this could happen. Even though my dad left when I was in high school. I remembered him as the best damn soldier that I ever met. I'm very proud of him. I never stop thinking about you. Love you always

I personally want to carry my family tradition but I was born with a disability, I’m partially deaf and that keeps me away from joining the military only because I am afraid I would get turned down because of it. And I do have a past medical history of Depression that was so bad I was sent to a mental rehab, but I’m still trying to study the ASVAB so I can do better each time I try the practice test before I do the Actual test itself.
