I think a tactic to use whenever the police bring up the "private cars being filmed" claim is to tell them that they are being snowflakes and not knowing anything about security and just believing what they are indoctrinated with. Yes it would annoy the hell out of them, but then their reaction of arresting would be seen more as a retaliation than following any law. If security was such a real concern, they'd put solid walls around the car park because anyone walking by could memorise number plates or write them down on a piece of paper. So what so different about a camera? Hostile reconnaissance is always done covertly, like writing a number down once out of sight, or using a hidden camera. Even the ACPO have stated that hostile recon is always done covertly, never in public and openly. Criminals are always stupid, but they are not that stupid to try a double-think tactic of doing it openly and attracting attention to themselves. If the police really were concerned about being identified from their number plates they would register their private cars as being at the police station, not their home. Number plates can also be blurred out if the photographer so wishes and the drivers request it nicely. Stopping the act of filming is effectively "prior restraint" and is censorship, especially when done by a branch of the government. Finally, personal details are not available to the general public from a number plate unless they use form V888 which is tracked, logged, recorded, and I'm sure that those in sensitive jobs will be notified if their number plate is used on the form.

@TheSadButMadLad3 жыл бұрын
@@papersplease But the police are thick, so you need to act against their base instincts. So make their concerns sound ludicrous and belittle them - they will either run away or they will react and arrest, but either way you will have won, even if they get your details, and you need to give them your details so that when you make a claim of unlawful arrest they can link it to the actual arrest.. The aim isn't to not give details, it's show the police acting like tyrants.

People who live in this country and respect the police have either a blanket over their eyes and ears or they're mentally deficient so much that they need help with their daily life. There's absolutely nobody I know with a brain that respects an officer. Perhaps the intentions of having a police force sounded good at the time but as times goes on there's more and more corrupt police abusing powers. Because its 2021 and even though the UK is the one place that has more cctv than anywhere else in the world there is still corruption. It shows even with cctv police are still a joke.
