TRACI, I had been researching the Eoc Sign-In Sheet for 8/8/23 that was posted From HNN, and it said that Gregg Okamoto= MPD Assistant Chief of Support Services signed in at 07:20=7:20 Am. He is not Deputy Chief of Police, Wade Maeda is. He and Pelletier were both gone! Also, MPD Lieutenant Gordon Sagun, promoted just before Fire 5/2023, signed in at 4:45AM. at 9pm a MPD Communications officer signed in. Pelletier and Maeda failed by Being absent from EOC! instead they put low-level untrained officers in their place! They hindered communication and the saving of life! . Negligent the Fire Dept. also mimicked The Police Dept. = Fire Chief Ventura and Deputy Fire Chief Gavin Fujioka Both Gone! And = Jeff Giesen, a chief of Support Services, not a deputy chief, signed in 4:45 Am and an MFD Service officer, Ryan Yatsushirio signed in at 7:30 AM. Support Service officers does not mean Senior officers train an emergency response! the battalion chief, Ryan 0KFobo, signed in at 4:15 p.m., which was very late. I also read in the evaluation of the fire department Report, that the police department and the fire department were not together at the same incident command post, No co-location which caused emergency response coordination! wow I guess so! According to Mike Cicchino, (one of the survivors who was in the water that day waiting to be rescued) the CG didn't arrive until almost midnight on August 8th. MSM reported that Coast Guard Sector Honolulu Command Ctr had gotten word around 5:45pm August 8th, (after Cicchinos Mother was able to put a call through to 911) )that there were 50 to 100 people in the water and along the seawall at Lahaina Harbour and that they were in need of desperate emergency assistance due to being fully surrounded by fire, smoke and falling debris. The CGCC in Honolulu apparently responded swiftly, and said a Response Boat, 2 cutters and helicopters had been deployed. When CG Station Maui, whose base is in Maalaea (south of Lahaina) got word from Honolulu CC, they launched a 45 ft Response Boat to assist the already airborn helicopters (1 CG & 2 Navy Helos) The Pilot of the CG Helo, apparently radiod CGSM advising they were unable to descend below 500ft over Lahaina Harbour, due to the wind, and so it was up to the boat crews to get into the harbour and pull the people to safety. CGSM did not confirm at what time they entered the harbour, and there is no video of them actually rescuing anyone, but reports say they rescued a total of 17 people that night. 17 out of a possible 100. Do they get an award for taking 24 minutes before they decide to evacuate the neighborhood? the noon fire starts at 2:55 pm, fire department gets there at 3:00pm, then according to Alana Pico, Police spokesperson, the two policemen decide to do a time stakenly slow door-to-door evac for 60 houses on two streets as the fire is growing? then they do a loudspeaker warning for 10 to 15 streets and then they clear out never morning or evacuating kahua camp or Kahua Street! this is probably a prime example of how Police chief Pelletier guided his officers and his response all day! he never scheduled extra officer help that day. Idiot. Mauka of Hwy 30 Between Dickenson and Kahoma stream including Lahaina Luna Road is where is 69 people died. it is called Ground Zero! Pelletier Failed to respond in this emergency which ended up killing 69 people and more in other areas of Lahaina, when Poles Fell on Hwy 30 South of Lahainalura Rd For Il Hours, it prevented the town From exiting Southbound which partially caused gridlock on Front Street! who should get an award for this??

it is very odd and does not make sense about why the police officers were going door-to-door on the street that they had already previously evacuated in the morning = Kuialua Street and Hookahuia Street. so why in the world did Pelletier tell his officers to .waste all their time going to 60 houses door to door! the officers could have done a loudspeaker through the other neighborhoods Below and spent their time warning and saving the 69 lives lost in this ground zero Zone! Pelletier screwed up big-time here! he should be fired for This! he gave his men orders to do a slow door-to-door evacuation on Homes already pre- evacuated! I studied this extensively, I made my own map, I checked Google, and reports! Pelletier Screwed up real bad on this. he lacks the maturity and the intelligence to run a Police Department and his decision-making skills are selfish and immature, which now proves to everyone that he can't work with the other lead emergency response departments! the police commission hired a childish thug to run the show over there! I wonder why????
