I live in Italy, my father is Italian, and my mother is Polish and I don't speak Polish very well except with my mother and relatives in Poland. I don't really know how to write in Polish, and I'm ashamed of my mother's relatives. I make a lot of grammar mistakes. I am very glad that I found your channel!❤💜 Your videos really help me to improve my writing and reading in Polish! Thank you very much, Ewelina!💞💗 Pozdrowienia z Palermo!🤗

Hi! I'm planning to visit Poland for sightseeing this Autumn, so I'm learning Polish for survival. Your videos are really helpful!! :-) Would you please tell me about the words and the phrases in case of my losing my direction? Like, the words about showing the direction,(right, left, next, near, far, straight, forward, backward, at the corner, etc). And, of course, how to say "Where is *****?". Learning Polish is hard, but it's really fun learning Polish with your video! Thank you very, very much! Dziękuję bardzo!

Thank you very much Ewelina who is always gorgeous and beautiful . You really helped me with your learning methods which are easy to understand and learn. I'm working in a dental klinik where all staff and patients are from Poland. I became interested in learning Polish because of my nice work colleagues .Anyway, I have nice colleges which is the reason why I'm interested in learning their language . Something I noticed , Polish people are social and like to communicate with each other and almost a lot, even when it concerns insignificant affairs or matters . Greetings from me. Sweden

Great video, thanks for posting, I have been using your video to help me start learning Polish. My best friend and I are planning on taking our wives to Poland next year (He is 100% Polish and already speaks the language, so he is laughing daily at my pronunciations, but I am working on it.) I do have one question, also being a history buff there is a color using in 17th century polish referred to as Polish Crimson (the brighter pink you can imagine). Would we just use "pink" to describe the color, or is there a particular name for it?

When noun is feminine or masculine :P For example feminine version of noun (nominative case) and adjectives have "a" endings, for example - czerwona spódnica (red skirt), czarna kawa (black cafe) or żółta ścieżka (yellow path).

Dear Ewelina, I am confused about the male/female versions. Does a man use only the male version when speaking a color? Or would he use the female version when speaking to a woman? How does this work? Thank you, Bob
@itsewelina7 жыл бұрын
+rj k No . Female version you use for example when you say Sukienka is red " sukienka "- dress is feminine version that's why you refer to it in feminine version . Hotel is green - hotel jest Zielony - male

It's a connector vowel. Bialo-czerwony is one word - you connect the two words with 'o' to make one. Yes, slavic languages are complicated.
