Polish parliament seeks to restore rule of law | Jowanka Jakubek - Lalik

Donald Tusk's government is seeking to end the dispute with Brussels over the rule of law, one of the key factors affecting the implementation of EU disbursements, before handing over the presidency to Hungary. For the Prime Minister, this is one of the most important goals. Jowanka Jakubek - Lalik, an associate professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw joined us at TVP World to explain this subject.

The rule of law is fundamental to society and so must be dealt with fairly on each individual case. However, with the rise of social media, political bias, and conflicts etc. I believe we need to evolve further, so that any national law is wovern together with the threads of international law, rather than being separated. This would help moderate and keep a country balanced from any future leaders that have sociopath, autocratic, or dictator tendencies...
