You could probably get another 500 bucks just by painting the trim piece behind the front bumper, that way it doesn't look like it started as a rust bucket 👍 looking like a real car now.

MSRA back to the 50’s swap meet was 6/20/21. Tri five stuff aplenty. 10,500 registered cars at the show. Hopefully next year DD speed shop will be in attendance.

Car looks wonderful. Should stick some of the side trim on car, that also makes it worth more when the buyer looks at it .A few clips and some side chrome installed and I bet it will be driven and enjoyed, as a nice together car. I know I would just a little more work on it PLEASE

It's a beauty, I'd love a car like that, I wouldn't need the dual carbs, just a SBC, header, dual exhaust, and I'd be happy. Only thing I might change, is I'd maybe do 3 on the tree, or 4 speed on the floor..

Great video Dan. I personally like to see more parts on the car, as opposed to in a box in the trunk. That way I know exactly what is there and exactly what I will need to buy. And knowing what I will have to track down and buy, figures into my offer on the car. And if I were you I would try to fix, paint or replace the front bumper filler, as it really sticks out in its current condition. But that's just my 2 cents. Thanks for the video

You are right. It's like alot of people don't have the kind of imagination to see an assembled car, when it disassembled. Hell, half the time when i go to look at a car, I've probably built it 2 or 3 different times in my head over the course of the visit looking at it! Still like that 56... hate to see it go.

I read somewhere that wadded up aluminum foil rubbed on chrome will help bring back some luster. I haven't tried it but maybe it will make the chrome look better.

Had a 56 back in 1981. Worked on it all summer to get it on the road . Then a woman hit the passenger side a week later another woman backed into the driver side. Talked about bummed out. Been looking for a replacement ever since.
