Absolutely great chat. Question is - where to go from discussions like these? We're pushing beyond conversation, common sense. Some are already self actualized. Needs application now, assimilation. We have philosophers but no gladiators. The philosopher and those filtered downward, are teaching courses. If to other philosophers or content creators, it only makes for meetings - Peoples front of Judea (Life of Bryan). Gladiators of word to action need to be searched. Government will not implement any heretical teachings to an over growing, over educated empowered populous. So how does it seep in, when people live over scheduled lifes. Where to take it now, lads?

The fundamental difference between "Drunk or Monk" is that one is able to reach the state at will without external stimuli, while the other can only reach the state with help of external stimuli. Same reason why I think psychedelics are a shortcut for those unable or unwilling to reach the state through rigorous internal work. Neural pathways unused become synaptically pruned or disconnected. That is why monks call their paths a "practice". It's not a destination, there is no end game, the game is sustainability. If you practice every day, you increase your chances of being able to sustain the state for longer periods of time and can easily come back to it should you get lost. Using external stimuli to reach the state uses and reaffirms the need for that stimuli to reach the desired state, leaving you forever seeking that desired state from those stimuli and not contributing to self-sufficiency.

Interesting conversation, however this conversation seems to be missing a few points but most importantly completely missing the inclusion of "Independent" mindset. As the majority of this country at this point, it must stand for something. What do the brains of those who belong to neither liberalism nor conservativism show? Reductionistic view comes up with reductionistic results. The world is not split into two types of people, in fact you will be hard pressed to find two people who align on everything. Can that be explored a little bit for a truly balanced view?
